SYC: Patterned Pants; Graphic Tee

Inspired by Angie's blog post this morning, this outfit features the closest thing I have to printed pants with an old Zara tee that looks like my dog.
I tried a linen kimono jacket for a topper in the heat and for more pattern, but don't think it works.
The semituck is at the side to avoid tucking the dog's paw. I welcome your suggestions and comments

NAS: Help needed on vest

I ordered this TTahari Loey vest I two sizes and keep waffling as to which I should keep.
1-3 are an XS, front unzipped, sides zipped, sides unzipped.
4-6 is the S, front unzipped, sides zipped, sides unzipped. I have on grey Kut Diana jeans, also NAS, and a light weight turtleneck, but it is hot and the vest is warm, so these were taken in a hurry with no shoes. Do I need more photos?
What do you think works best? The XS? The S? Or return both. Yay-XS, nay-S.
What do you think of the jeans? Fit ok? They are very comfortable
I welcome your help. I don't know what to do withthe vest.

SYC July: matchup denim, low contrast & lite

Yesterday I did a summer version of double denim with black. Several wanted to see a lighter version, so here are 2. I could also do matchy white denim. I'm not confident about the ivory Express top worn here. It has a banded waist.
1/2: Same Aeropostale jeans and Hinge vest as yesterday. Express top, Coach pointy flat loafers. Calvin Klein belt.
3/4: same but with Old Navy white vest.
What do you like and what changes would you make?

Matchy faded denim, summer style

Inspired by Angie's blog, I am trying denim on denim, both faded. This is a first time pairing. Should it be the last?
Are these pieces ok together color wise? Proportion-wise?
Vest: Hinge
Jeans: Aeropostale
Tank: Target
Belt: Target
Bracelets: 10000 Villages and street fair
Flats: Crocs

ETA: Please be honest. Am I too old to wear double denim? Is this a junior look? Should I be wearing higher rise jeans? Please keep me from looking foolish.

Ask Angie: Foxcroft Shirt? ETA shirt photos

Have you seen this Foxcroft shirt?  I have been looking for a replacement black dot on white shirt.  This one seems to fit well but isn't really a polkadot.  Should I keep this one or keep looking?  It's different, but is it different in a good way?
ETA photos: 1-4 is the Foxcroft shirt under consideration. 5-8 is my existing Liz Clairborn shirt. My old one is a tailored fit and old enough to have darts! It is used most for layering. I thought I'd like a more fluid fit that could be worn alone.

ROG Outfit in blue and bone EF

I needed inspiration to dress for a friend's birthday lunch today. This is exactly what the outfit generator came up with and it worked well for a hot day and over air conditioned restaurant.
The bone -colored bottoms are EF lantern style pants.
The shell is also EF and silk. The cardigan, also EF, is linen and a thrift store find.
Flats are old silver Dr Scholls and very comfortable. Bag Is Kate Spade.
Is the cardigan too long for this outfit? Too short? I welcome comments and suggestions.

ROG Inspired and Outfit Lab

Last weekend I turned to ROG for inspiration for an outfit with a skirt. ROG kept showing me ideas with a wool caramel skirt and a leopard tube skirt. As it is hot and all wool is packed away, I went leopard. ROG also liked the cream and black pointy flats and cream KS clutch/crossbody bag.
I played with various tops but the same skirt and shoes. Here are some results and I'd like feedback as to what you like and what doesn't work. What tweeks would you suggest trying? The only toppers are vests and a silk shirt because it was so hot.
1: with black EF assymetrical linen sleeveless top.
2: with black V-neck EF silk sleeveless top
3: with silk sunflower tee ( black background with large flowers and leaves in shades of yellow and green.). Pattern mixing with leopard skirt.
4: another black silk EF sleeveless top, here shown alone. It is also part of 5-8.
5: more pattern mixing with Citron silk monkey shirt over black tank.
6: EF long stone assymetrical sleeveless shell over black top.
7: same as 6 with added EF long stone vest.
8: same as 4 with added black vest
9: shiny silk beige top

WIW: Cobalt and Olive in the heat

This is not a great outfit, the fault of the pieces, not the great colors. Both pieces are cool and breezy in our 120F heat index today. Pants and top are both EF from EBay or huge discount. The bag is vintage. The flats are bronze but I later had to change into gold metallic Born loafers after a huge, painful bruise appeared on top of a foot.
I welcome your thoughts and ideas for improving the outfit.

Ensemble inspired

A couple of quick shots of my outfit today inspired by Angie's latest ensemble of olive, white and denim with espadrilles. This was comfortable for my day and the sort of thing that I wear for daily casual all the time. Comments and suggestions welcomed.
Some of the finds are approximate. the striped tee is Merona from Target, the pants are a more olive version of the EF find. Denim jacket is Target.

My NAS Stuff Arrived

What I received is in finds below. I got the Paige high waist skinnies in two sizes to try, but think I'll return both and keep looking. (1-5)
I really wanted the Chantelle bra and undies in grey, but my size sold out. I'm happy with the fit and comfort of the Betsy Johnson and the Hank Pankys are a good match. These both look more grey than lavender.
I got a medium in the plaid shirt and it seems a good fit. They run small. It is a replacement for a flannel Target shirt I got last year that is really too big, but similar colors. (2-3)
I bought a size 2 in the Ted Baker tee and it is generous. My store doesn't have them to try a smaller size but I like how fluid this is. I'm not sure that I'll keep it though. (4-6)
I love the EF skirt but hope to size up. The XXS fits and may stretch out a bit but I want to try the XS to compare. It looks much better than the online photo. (6-10).
my photos were taken quickly after I got home from working out and am a mess. Sorry about the bare feet.
