Cold Spring EF Layers

Inspired by Angie's EF post, I layered some EF chocolate brown pieces. The brown are all thrifted or EBay and the bittersweet orange sweater is from a Rack sale. I would like your thoughts. Are these looks overpowering me? I usually wear the brown silk pants rolled up a bit in summer as the length is not the best. Should I have them shortened for wide crops? Is the cardigan too short. Is the orange sweater too long for me? Is the orange too high contrast for the dark brown?

Casual Cold Spring Pastels

It is below freezing with lots on snow. Here is a "getting it real" version of Angie's Casual Pastel Pink and Blue Ensemble. I am using blush for pink and most of this outfit was thrifted. It is not my best, but warm for a cold day. I will wear big white sneakers to go out later. A wardrobe hole. I need a pair of white snow-proof, non skid booties.
I am showing you two bags, a small convertible white clutch/shoulder/cross body and a huge blush tote. Which is the better choice? I see that I could also use a larger white bag. ETA: ( I just realized the big blush tote can reverse to a very pale grey/white).
Finds show the scarf I later

Inspired by Angie's Valentine Ensemble

I wore a version of Angie's Valentine ensemble to a dinner meeting last night. This is debuting a floral bomber jacket that I could not resist because it combined black with blush, grey and a bit of denim blue. The occasion called for something other than jeans, so I wore wide silk EF pants but would have liked blue jeans better. I was not completely happy with this outfit. It may have been the pants. Suggestions?

A ROG outfit for a rainy day with chance of snow.

This was a Random Outfit Generator outfit pick as I remember it. My question is especially about the wide crops. They are new from Gap. This is the Short size. Should they be shortened more? They are quite comfortable and should be great for summer. I know ROG picked these pants, the AT top and the denim jacket. I am pretty sure that these were the shoes or some other flat in a light neutral. I can't remember the bag but needed to use a large one so went with this navy tote. What do you think? I am open to suggestions for improvement and other styling ideas.

WIW: Spring Scarf (napkin)

Inspired by Angie's blog post I pulled out a spring floral cotton napkin to wear as a scarf to tie together peach and cornflower blue with white flats and bag. Does this work? Is the "scarf" too napkin looking to wear this way? Are the colors of the outfit working together? Dare I wear this "scarf" out in public?

For Aida: Tweed jacket w/white & silver + jacket lab

Aida asked me to do an outfit with the same jacket I did with dark jeans only with white and silver or gold.
https://youlookfab.com/welookf.....raphic-tee
I went with silver because of silver toned zipper detail on the red jacket. White dog graphic tee for white theme. (Photo 1) What do you think? (2/3)
I also tried some other jackets. White tweed jacket (4/5), silver metallic jacket (6/7), and long black jacket (8/9). What do you like, not like? I'd love to have your suggestions and preferences. Is low or high contrast better?

Tie front dress

I don't have much in the way of tie front tops but do have a couple of tie front dresses. This one is silk and bought because the colors went well with my EF bone. I intended to wear it as a tunic over bone skinny pants but need a dress for a tea today and wanted to give it an outing. The tie is very narrow and string-like.
The topper is an EF button-down dress. I do not have ideal footwear for this outfit. In the first photos are white/bone patent kitten sling back heels (1/2). the photo (3) shows my EF ankle strap flats. Which ones? I need a pale grey dressy flat.
Also, which necklace? Pearls or pendant or something else? With the topper I felt I needed a filler.
I welcome your thoughts and suggestions. Maybe this dress is too short and should only be a tunic? Bad style for someone without a waist?

WIW: Tomato Shoe-Bag-Scarf Compliment

I found I had the pieces and wore them today. The top is ink blue and too big. I'm giving it to DDIL. Jeans are plaid with red (not tomato). Scarf is new from the Rack, a silk version of a red bandana. DGS, age 2, noticed this outfit. When he saw me today, he said, "Grandma has red shoes and a red backpack." I welcome your suggestions and comments. Happiness factor is high. Now I need to put together a compliment to match my aqua bag.
