WIW: knit grey jacket 2 ways

Using Angie's formula on Monday, I pulled out my very warm wool blend knit Halogen blazer from NAS a few years ago. For the most casual part of the chilly day I wore a long sleeved Nygaard graphic tee under it. Leopard booties and belt completed the outfit. (1/2). Is it too much to use all that leopard with the tee? The belt is narrow and doesn't show much.
Later I had a class and thought the tee might be too distracting for the children. So it was replaced with a Pleoine crossover striped top and putty SE Petty booties. (Photo 3) I later replaced the leopard belt with a distressed silver grey one.
The scarf was needed for warmth. I'm not sure that it works here.
I used a black puffer coat as it was cold, windy and snowing.
I'd welcome your comments and suggestions for improving either of these outfits.

WIW: a few attempts to put Spring in my life

The daffodils want to bloom but the cold and snow keep them closed.
Some recent outfits with a touch of spring. These are experiments that turned out just ok to meh. Suggestions are welcome!
1: Halogen yellow raisin skirt with Target Chanal-esque jacket and dotty silk shirt and scarf.
2: Same yellow skirt with ivory silk shell and bone jacket which may be too dated.
3/4: JCrew camel skirt with black cashmere sweater
5: Turquoise Halogen skirt with ivory shell and black knit Gibson jacket. This is also the unveiling of a new Kate Spade bag that can also be used as a clutch.
6: Buttoned up kimono top over olive-grey jeans. I don't think this worked.
Actually, is there anything that you like about any of these outfits? It looks like a cold week ahead but I don't think I'll want to repeat any of these.

Ensemble Knit Blazer inspired by April

I was inspired by April's RATE outfit and Angie's blog post to try this outfit.
It features a thrifted pair of Aeropostale jeans that I bought for dirty work in the yard but like the light wash. If I shorten them so the roll isn't as bulky, could they function as boyfriends or should they be garden only?
The last 2 photos are an attempt to show the color of the jeans. Are they too mom-jean? They are light, but not uniformly faded; no rips.
Is the look too young? Is the jacket too short?

Ask Angie: should I Keep this EF pullover?

I asked about this sweater when shopping and got mixed reviews.
http://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/buy-or-not-5
It came home with me; I've done some playing, but am still undecided about keeping it. Below are some tries.
1/2: in the store with black jeans and top.
3: with white jeans and tank.
4/5: with camel skirt and black cowel-neck sweater
6: with black tube skirt and cowel sweater
I also tried it over a black sleeveless shift dress and thought it worked ok.
Pros: I love the design and fabric.
It could be worn almost year round
Sale priced.
Could work with lots of things I already have.
Seems fluid with structure in the fitted sleeves and moves nicely.
Cons: While half price, is still expensive, so must be a 10.
With a tank underneath, the neck is more open than ideal and calls
for a scarf, fill-in necklace, or topper to bring something closer to my
neck.
The bottom edge in front hits at my widest part ( back is slightly longer).
I'm unsure about the proportions on my body. This is a regular XS. It is available on the EF site in a Petite S, but is more expensive and my best size in many EF pieces is a PP, which is not available.
What do you think after seeing it with more stylings? I need your collective wisdom.

WIW: leather jacket with the pleated skirt

Angie and others wanted to see the fab leather moto jacket from Sandy with my new black pleated skirt.

I have worn the skirt with the black jacket and another time with a cream one. Happiness factor was especially high with the black version. Your comments and suggestions are welcomed.
