Another ROG outfit for Wednesday. ETA photos

I am going to try another ROG inspired outfit. I plan to use white jeans instead of the silk pants as it will be all day with a 4-year old boy, including a picnic and playground if it does not rain or the Butterfly Pavillion if it does. Anyone want to hold a tarantula ?

K/R: Nic & Zoe reversible knit top

Can you stand another Nordstrom Rack Clearance post? When I went to return the booties I did not keep this top came home with me. It is like a light weight sweatshirt in weight but more up-scale.
Photos in the store show both sides. It is cream and navy and perfect for the weather we have. What do you think?

K/R: EF coat (Keeping)

One of my recent Rack finds on clearance, this sort of a trench coat. It is very plain and sleek with magnetic closures, not even buttons. It is completely reversible, but I would probably wear the olive side (#1-3) most. The reverse is a bone white. (#4-5). Also good with my wardrobe. Both sides have pockets at the side.
What do you say? Keep or return?

My attempt at utilitarian #2

Olive consignment utility pants, black tee and knit jacket. How did I do? I felt good in this outfit at the Farmers Market, eating lunch at a casual place and at a plant nursery. The bag (3/5) is fairly new, handmade of bison hide bought at a craft fair.

FYI: Nordstrom Rack is having 25% off clearance and 50% off clearance prices on boots! ETA: photos

I think I was told that the sale runs through Monday. I bought several paid of short boots at 50% off clearance, including Lucky brand cowboy boots and waterproof Blondo booties, white Marc Fisher pointy toe booties with silver-toned studs and a Cole Haan sneaker-boot hybrid that will be great for dog walking.
Stay tuned for a K/R post. If the Blondo’s are comfortable , they will replace some old SE taupe booties plus a Blondo pair in a similar color with a bit more of a heel.
Scroll down for my post with photos.

Trench Challenge

Here are my trenches, too many but all serve a purpose, Most are thrifted except for the longest black trench with hood.
1: a light weight Gap trench. Quite handy for cool nights in summer. Black.
2: EF graphite grey sort of metallic. We fabric. Probably my most worn trench.
3-5: longerblack trench with warm lining. Perfect for funerals and a bit dressier when hood is removed. Can be worn in winter.
6/7: bright pink. Perfect for October breast cancer awareness soiidarity and for spring. Lined with pink satin but not too warm.
8-10: longest of my trenches and a thrifted Burberry in perfect condition. Handy for cold days and over long frocks. 11 and 12 are my thrifted leather trenches. Both soft leather and often worn to 8am church services.
13: bonus of a cold spring outfit worn today. Jeans are made of recycled plastic bottles, thrifted citron top and floral jacket, St Johns pink leather loafers. Bag is Steve Madden from the Rack. Too visually big for me but I like the size for all my stuff. ETA: short blue trench. Down to pennies per wear.
I welcome your comments. Should I purge some of the trenches? The black Gap one is on probation because fit could be better and I have plenty of black options.

WIW: Reverse Leopard

Inspired by Angie’s post, I put on some leopard, although I needed to be dressed for snow and babysitting a 17 month old. So footwear will be boots for outside. Black Hoxton jeans, leopard kitten print long sleeved tee, leopard gauzy shirt. I may change out the leopard shirt for a faux furry vest for warmth. #4: Bracelets of beads, metal and leather. #5: Bonus photo of early morning snow. It is supposed to continue to accumulate all day. Temperature at mid morning is at freezing and still snowing.
ETA: vest and boots
