Wrapped Plaid blazer

Inspired by UmmLila's post about spring checked and plaid jackets plus temperatures in the 30's F, I tried to wrap a blazer this morning.

Not the same look as a denim jacket, but what do you think? Should it be repeated?
Wrap is a closet orphan, an old chocolate cashmere blanket scarf ( usually too big). Blazer is thrifted Brooks Brothers with silk lining. It also is pretty much an orphan as it is rather dressy and prim for my lifestyle. White jeans are EF as is my white tee. Scarf is a cotton table napkin from William Sonoma last year. Snake loafers are old Franco Sarto. Bag is from DSW.
For Ledonna, the blazer is thrifted but is like new.

Wrapped Denim Jacket: Whiteout

I have a poncho in shades of cream and white and white denim so decided to try a white version of Angie's wrapped denim ensemble. Does this work? Suggestions for improvement?
After taking the photos I did add white pearl earrings and necklace. The necklace just perks out from under the jacket collar a little bit.

Wrapped denim, St. Pat's edition

Today's outfit is perfect for the weather and adapted to include green. The poncho is not open in front so does not show much of the jacket. I added a cotton bandana for more green. I used a convertible clutch with a chain because my green shoulder bag is the wrong green ( too minty). Am I overpowered here by the layers? Does this work with the non-open poncho?

Dressed Up "High-Tops"

Angie's post on dressing up high-tops inspired this outfit. These booties are the closest I have to high-tops. Do they look ok?
I like the color combination of turquoise and olive and want to use it or navy and olive for 'hot autumn'. That means looking for a summer silky top with a print of olive and navy or turquoise or all three.
I appreciate all comments and also your suggestions for improvement. I have a small square silk scarf with a better color match for the bag, but this scarf looked more like the inspiration photo.

WIW: Cold Spring, Color

There has been some mention of capsules for late winter/cold spring. Here are a few of my pieces from this capsule in action. If you live with 4 seasons, I highly recommend having such a capsule saved for when you need a change from those dark neutrals and colors.
1/2: Mint green with grey and silver
3-5: Blush with small square scarf. In r/l the color is closer to blush
6: lavender, floral, and grey
I also have light blue and light pink in this capsule as well as light neutrals.
The pieces shown are chosen for cold days, not just transitional, although I can put together outfits got warmer weather too.
Do you have things that you like to wear on cold blustery spring days? Suggestions and comments welcomed. How can I improve these outfits?

Culottes and Cocoon Cardi

Inspired by Angie's Friday ensemble idea, I shopped my closet and came up with this. All are pieces that you have seen before. I could have worn booties or a trench coat. Would one or both of those choices been an improvement?
I am also using a clutch with it's optional chain handle also used yesterday with jeans and sneakers. What do you think? Are the culottes an acceptable length? All comments and suggestions welcomed. I am unsure about this outfit and was by far the most dressed up for Mass today.
