Angie's Neutrals Ensemble: A Casual Summer Version

Inspired by Angie's post yesterday but not optimistic about finding the neutrals in my summer clothes, I searched and came up with this. I tried to stick to the darker neutrals and not include any version of white. Does it work?
The brown sandals have not been worn yet this summer. They are comfortable but the color...Angie, I think they may stay around a bit longer. I've kept them because my DSIL admires them so much but they are far from her size. Has anyone else ever kept something because someone else likes it on you?

WIW: White BFs with EF top

It is hot and humid today,so the Kut Catherine boyfriends feel just right. I am showing them with a K/R EF linen tank from the last Clear the Rack sale. I hoped it would be super cool for these hot, sticky days and my other sleeveless tops are more to much more fitted. The color of bright pink is a wild card. YLF liked the color on me last summer in a similarly colored dress and a trench, but I am not completely at ease with it. It is definitely better on me in summer light than winter.
The first photos don't show how bright the color is so I added the last two, which are more the actual tone. Do you think the color is ok from what you can see ?
1: top tucked to make faux side assymetry.
2: top with normal semi- tuck
Which do you like best? The top is too voluminous on meto wear untucked.
Jeans: Kut Catherine boyfriends
Top: Eileen Fisher linen
Belt: Target
Shoes: Julianne Hough
I welcome your thoughts and suggestions.

Ask Angie: K/R NAS Aquatalias and VC leopard tube skirt

Dear Angie and all,
I have been trying to find some really narrow shaft boots for a long time. These are Aquatalias with a couple of stretchy panels. They are said to have a 14" circumference, which is usually still too big. They fit my feet very comfortably in my normal size. My questions are 1. Are they too wide for my calves? 2. Are they taller than the ideal boot for me to wear with skirts and dresses? (These are 15")
I am showing them with lengths of skirts I would wear with them, the black skirt is on the shorter side for me. As you see, there is barely any skin showing between boot and skirt. Is this ok? Except for these possible issues, these are boots of my dreams, but I only want to keep them if they are 10s on me and will work with my skirts and dresses.
The second NAS K/R is the VC leopard tube skirt. It's a lovely leopard print that is black on light tan with no darker browns. I sent for both S and XS and am showing you the small. The XS fits more bodycon than I am comfortable wearing in leopard print unless they stretch out on wearing.
I need your wisdom on these items. What would you do?

WIW: Taupe with a touch of metal. Fluid or Deluded?

My favorite consignment shop just closed. I picked up a few items on the last day and this outfit features one of them... A taupe and bronze metallic striped shell. Here it is with my taupe linen trousers rolled, gold loafers and taupe linen cardi. Does any of this work on me? My greying hair used to be mostly taupe and I think it looked taupe again wearing this outfit. The shell is a larger size than I usually wear. Is it looking nicely fluid or am I deluded? Is the leg rolling off? Too messy? I welcome all comments and suggestions for improvement.

K/R, Copying Ornella and JH Sole Society shoes

When I saw Ornella's fab white jeans/chambray shirt outfit, I wanted to try it but don't have the fab white shoes. I found these Julianna Hough for Sole Society at Clear the Rack sales. They are French Taupe patent. Tags are still on so tell me what you think.
Jeans: Kut Catherine BFs
Shirt: from Sandy
Watch: MKors
What do you think of these shoes for me? Proportions?
Unless it warms up too much, I plan to wear some version of this outfit to get a hair trim this afternoon. Thank you for your comments.

Coral and Blue, Lite

I tried Angie's coral and blue formula with aqua and peach. I forgot about the white so would use the white clutch instead of the coral bag and/or white sandals. The cardi has a patterned cotton lining. I'm not sure that this works on me. What do you think?
1: dress (Last years JJill)
2/3: dress with cardi (thrifted)
4: showing lining
Sandals are Seychelles.
I think the dress is best on it's own as it is very breezy, but I know a coverup will be needed in A/C today. Suggestions?

WIW: July 4th Outfoor Events ETA: photos of tuck options (scroll down)

This is my July 4th contribution. It's mostly white and blue with red flats. I could add a red cardi, but it is too warm. Angie, thank you for the inspiration.
You have probably seen most of this outfit before. All pieces are fairly old except the cross body/ clutch Kate Spade bag. I like having a white bag.
I welcome your thoughts and suggestions. Is the top ok worn out?

WIW: Some recent hot Weather Outfits

Due to having guests using the room where I usually take my outfit photos, I haven't posted a WIW for awhile. Here are a few I managed. Some you may have seen on someone's thread.

1-3: this is actually workout gear. 1 is with accessories added to wear to a meeting and errands. 2 is for working out. 3 shows the shorts attached under the skirt.
4: this one was inspired by Angie's coral/blue/white ensemble.
5: this dress is so cool to wear when it's hot.
6: ink and light grey. All EF.
7-8: white linen
I'd love to have your thoughts and ideas for improvements. Hot weather dressing is a challenge!
