ROG Outfit in blue and bone EF

I needed inspiration to dress for a friend's birthday lunch today. This is exactly what the outfit generator came up with and it worked well for a hot day and over air conditioned restaurant.
The bone -colored bottoms are EF lantern style pants.
The shell is also EF and silk. The cardigan, also EF, is linen and a thrift store find.
Flats are old silver Dr Scholls and very comfortable. Bag Is Kate Spade.
Is the cardigan too long for this outfit? Too short? I welcome comments and suggestions.

I love this on you! Just gorgeous and like a tall drink of water, refreshing in summer.

Thank you for your lovey comments. Angie, in spite of the Comedy badge, I take the Queen ROG title quite seriously ;) it was a very hot day, but I felt comfortable wearing this outfit.
Some people ask Siri. I ask ROGer.

Wow, Joy! ROG works magic with your wardrobe...someday I'm going to need to figure that out
    ...looks like fun!

Ooh, those seascape colors are divine, and the silk lantern pants (which look much more graceful, to my eye, in the length you're wearing them) may be just the loose, flowing trousers I've been looking for. They look so comfortable.  A lovely outfit.

Carole, I do have lots of fun with that outfit generator.  Even when it comes up with seasonally mixed outfits, I still get ideas.  I need to figure out how to get it to just use items in my summer (or winter) wardrobe.  I think I need to make collections out of finds.

Tulle, you would love the lantern pants.  They are comfortably loose and have movement, but not overly much volume like a wide leg.  I got these at the Eileen Fisher store with a discount coupon and had to size down to an XXS for best fit.

Beautiful! And summery cool. Those lantern pants look so much better on you than they do on me where they hit a couple of inches above my ankle.

Lovely outfit!  I love the blues of the top and cardigan together and the white pants really sets them off.

Thank you, ladies. Your comments give me confidence. Dakotacheryl, I wondered if you had tried these. Many EF pants are too short for me. I wonder why she makes them so short. These probably hang longer because they are loose.

Just ordered the lantern pants in dark blue--and on sale at a great price! Heading to a house party at the shore, then to Northern CA in September, and thinking (hoping) these will be perfect for evenings in  casual settings.  So thanks for the tip!  Silk pants--yum.
