Coral and Blue, Lite

I tried Angie's coral and blue formula with aqua and peach. I forgot about the white so would use the white clutch instead of the coral bag and/or white sandals. The cardi has a patterned cotton lining. I'm not sure that this works on me. What do you think?
1: dress (Last years JJill)
2/3: dress with cardi (thrifted)
4: showing lining
Sandals are Seychelles.
I think the dress is best on it's own as it is very breezy, but I know a coverup will be needed in A/C today. Suggestions?

I think it works beautifully Joy.  I really, really loke those two colors together, so fresh and pretty.

I really love the dress on its own. But the cardi looks good too but definitely not better than 1! Gorgeous colors on you BTW :)

Thank you, Tanya and Neel. Affirmation from such stylish lasses helps. I'm happy that you think the light colors are working. I wondered if they washed me out.

So pretty and feminine, Joy. I like it both ways.

I like it both ways.   It also might look good with a narrow white belt to echo the sandal straps, and I agree with white or silver shoes to bookend as your hair adds a lovely pale silver to the outfit (so to my eye is already filling the 'white' role).

Gorgeous. Especially #1. You look prettier every year, Joy. TRULY. Much love and hugs to you. xo

The coral is such a nice touch -- soft and feminine, but not "girly" like pink!

Love the skimming quality of the dress.

Love these looks on you.  Beautiful shades of colors I appreciate even more because I can't wear them.

This look is so--refreshing.  Makes me feel more comfortable just looking at your photo.

I forgot to say that looking at your delicious outfit Joy, makes me feel like having a generous scoop of ice-cream.

Thank you all for your thoughts and ideas. Rabbit, a narrow white belt to fit at my waist is a wardrobe hole. I do have a narrow silver belt to try and a longer white belt that I use with low rise jeans that may work if I do some looping with the extra length at the waist. I like this idea to give the dress more structure.
Angie, now I know why I've been wanting to go for gelato all day :)

I love this Joy. You have a wonderful wardrobe. I need to run into J Uill sometime. I have never been into the one here.

Joy, I love the combo of these two colors! It reads very fresh to me.

Ah, J. Jill...comfy and good quality.

I too am missing a white belt for the waist. Sometimes I find that when I wear white bottoms, I don't want the belt to be obvious, hence the need. But I haven't seen any belts that are the proper width or the proper color (they're usually too off-white).
