WIW: Some recent hot Weather Outfits

Due to having guests using the room where I usually take my outfit photos, I haven't posted a WIW for awhile. Here are a few I managed. Some you may have seen on someone's thread.

1-3: this is actually workout gear. 1 is with accessories added to wear to a meeting and errands. 2 is for working out. 3 shows the shorts attached under the skirt.
4: this one was inspired by Angie's coral/blue/white ensemble.
5: this dress is so cool to wear when it's hot.
6: ink and light grey. All EF.
7-8: white linen
I'd love to have your thoughts and ideas for improvements. Hot weather dressing is a challenge!

    That is the most elegant workout gear I've ever seen. I have an Athleta skort, but it can't pass half as well as that can. You look FAB!

    *gasp* You had me at white linen--so chic! I love all these Joy, and your workout gear is the prettiest I've ever seen. Your hair is looking fabulous, and I love how you're able to bookend it with many of your shoes. I like dresses if I have to be out in the heat. None of mine require slips, that's my tip/secret. ;)

    How cute are those shorts attached to that skirt. You look super stylish even when you work out. 

    Your white-out look is killer and that patterned dress is sublime. I LOVE those colours. #4 is divine - and you're just so super cute, I can't stand it. xo

    Suz and Peri, the athletic wear is from a Target a couple of years ago. I wish I'd duplicated.
    Claire, thank you for your kind comments. Because of my hair, light footwear has become my go-to, although I recently picked up the first black pair in a long time. This dress is double fabric and reversible, so no slip needed.

    Angie, you know that I have been sensitive about my aging arms. Thank you for the kind comments.
    Caro, I'm loving this linen having avoided it for years because of the creasing. Making peace with that and finding pants with just the right amount of volume has helped.

    Una, than you. I work out in exactly what I am wearing in 3. Both top and shorts/skirt are a loose layer over a spandex layer. I am flat chested enough that I don't need a sports bra. The flats are athletic shoes with grippy soles and lots of support.

    Amazing looks, Joy!  I'm particularly fond of #4 and #5.  Perfect proportions for the short ensemble, and a terrifically fab reversible dress.  That would be a great item for travel!

    BethAnn, thank you for commenting on proportions, something I've not yet figured out consistently. If I know they are off, I'm not sure how to fix it. Good idea to take this dress for summer travel. Both sides are vibrant, but different colors and designs.

    Whaaaaaat???????  I'm trying to wrap my brain around that work-out outfit!  What kind of work-outs do you do?
    All of these outfits are really great Joy - I especially love the white linen - very elegant and perfect for summer!

    Marley, I go to a gym, work out on machines, treadmill, pulleys, a mat, big ball, and walk a track. I should join a class. I do get looks and sometimes questions when wearing this outfit, but if they see the bike shorts type part, it comes together. Usually I wear clam diggers or jeans. I really hate most workout clothes.
