WIW: Reverse Leopard

Inspired by Angie’s post, I put on some leopard, although I needed to be dressed for snow and babysitting a 17 month old. So footwear will be boots for outside. Black Hoxton jeans, leopard kitten print long sleeved tee, leopard gauzy shirt. I may change out the leopard shirt for a faux furry vest for warmth. #4: Bracelets of beads, metal and leather. #5: Bonus photo of early morning snow. It is supposed to continue to accumulate all day. Temperature at mid morning is at freezing and still snowing.
ETA: vest and boots

You look fabulous in your leopard tops and the bracelets are perfect with it. Great look, Joy.

I'm sorry I complained about it being only 62° and cloudy here this morning.

  • Lesley replied 4 years ago

I love it... way to double down on the leopard! Solidarity with our crappy spring! I'm shivering at my desk as I type this.

    Love the leopards :(
With Ms. Maven temp wise today, but sorry about the snow-that's awful! It's May-should be at least 70 everywhere!

  • Joy replied 4 years ago

Thank you for your encouragement, MrsMaven and Lesley. 62 sounds like a warm dreamy day. It will be rainy/ snowy and 40’sF all week and most of next. Maybe we will see 60’s in June, although I have heard that June snows are possible.

Thank you , Suntiger. I agree wholeheartedly. Those who have put away cold weather clothes are finding they have nothing to wear.

  • Mainelady replied 4 years ago

    What’s with the snow?!
Your reverse leopard is gorgeous! Love those bracelets, too!

  • replied 4 years ago

Still have pants and sleeved tops in closet, and lightweight puffers :( But I decided today I hate all my cold weather clothes, and want to toss the lot!

Double kitty! No wait, triple kitty!!!
I am writing this comment from the vet's office and can confirm you can never have too much kitty.

You’re a cool grandma! I especially like your bracelets.

We got up to 76 yesterday, and I’ve been wearing sandals.

  • Cardiff girl replied 4 years ago

You look real rock chick glam in this ensemble, love that the top is an actual picture of a real leopard.Snow in May!?!That shouldn’t be allowed!

  • Angie replied 4 years ago

SNOW. YUCK. You have my sympathy.

    Joy, you are STINKING cute.

  • Joy replied 4 years ago

Maine Lady, Cardiff girl and Angie, I am sick of snow. Snow tiger has the right idea. JAileen, 76 and sandals! Unbelievable as I look out at the snow still coming down.
SarahD8, I appreciate your post from the vets and hope all is well.
Maine Lady and JAileen, I like these bracelets too and so do grandchildren. Maine lady, I have been inspired by your arm candy and have tried to group by 3’s. Now I need to collect some orange bracelets.

Yes to the animal mash up! Looks great.

  • Joy replied 4 years ago

Thank you, fifthandfinest. I tried adding a leopard print cardi worn as a shawl much like Angie’s post outfit #4, but it looked forced. My cardi colors (light grey, cream and silver) seemed not to go well with the rest of the pieces I was wearing.

  • Jenni NZ replied 4 years ago

Looks amazing as usual Joy! But I can’t believe your snow!

  • Firecracker (Sharan) replied 4 years ago

This outfit is great, both ways. I like the mixed leopards! I feel for you with your snow, though. Enough already, I would think!

  • Joy replied 4 years ago

Thank you, Jenni and Firecracker, there has been snow and freezing rain all day. Enough. It is a miserable day. The four year old Branson will be coming to our house soon to spend the night. Freezing rain is coming down and usually he wants me to go out and play ball with him. How to stay warm and dry and still wear him out!

  • Jaime replied 4 years ago

Snow in May is just wrong. But your tiger top is fab!

  • Jenn replied 4 years ago

Snow here too. Every time, I think it’s going be the last one. Feels a little bittersweet for me.

You look cozy. I love the theming going on with your jewelry, and I’ll bet your grandson got a kick out of the leopard peeking out from under your shirtjacket.

  • smittie replied 4 years ago

FUN. I bet your grandchild enjoyed your leopard shirt :-)

  • rachylou replied 4 years ago

Lol, Joy. You really put on leopard!

Btw: It’s so crazy it’s still snowing! I got out all my summer clothes here on a rainy day, thinking it’s the Bay Area and the weather will turn tomorrow... yeah, no it has not...

  • Suz replied 4 years ago

    SNOW???

Leopard is the only solution to that.

    ROAR!!!!!

  • Brooklyn replied 4 years ago

Now that’s a leopard top! You look absolutely fabulous!

  • Katerina replied 4 years ago

Wow! Fabulous leopard outfit. Both versions are super and suit you beautifully. Hope you get some spring weather soon.

  • taylor replied 4 years ago

Joy , love your spunk ! YLF
This outfit is so perfect to scare that nasty weather away, while looking fabulous!

  • Joy replied 4 years ago

Thank you, ladies, for the compliments on the leopard and commensuration on the weather. It was sunny but mostly 40’s toddy’s. A coat was needed as well as socks and full length jeans.

  • Bonnie replied 4 years ago

Sorry about the snow but you look fab in your outfit.

  • AJ replied 4 years ago

It's actually a print of a leopard! Love that!
It's still rainy and colder in my neck of the woods and summer is our dominant season! Hang in there!
