I am going to try another ROG inspired outfit. I plan to use white jeans instead of the silk pants as it will be all day with a 4-year old boy, including a picnic and playground if it does not rain or the Butterfly Pavillion if it does. Anyone want to hold a tarantula ?

Kinda feeling you'll need something to integrate the colors-since they're all quite different tones. I think I'd like a lighter (blush or taupe) top or jacket more.
Will skip the tarantula-but would gladly hang out with the butterflies :) -

Suntiger, good idea. I think I have a blush scarf. It rained during the night so maybe we will save the butterflies and Rosie, the tarantula, for another day.

Ooh, I loved the Butterfly Pavilion, and my daughter held the tarantula, though I chose not to!
Do you have a print that would incorporate the black/white/blush and tie the look together? Maybe for the top or in a scarf?

Here are pictures! The first is the basic outfit. The rest are taking Suntiger’s and Becky’s suggestion and adding more light ( and bright) color. I used a scarf, as Becky has suggested.
Jeans are a high-rise Madewell. ( not high-rise on me). Black tee is Heat-tec. Cardi is EF. Booties are SE. I think scarf is JJill.
Which is best? ( with or without scarf?) Other suggestions? -

I must be a minimalist. I love the clean lines of the original pic. The blush bag and your bright hair provide enough high notes for me.

L’Abeille, I agree. The strap on that light blush bag does lighten things up more than I would have thought. I have white framed sun glasses too and wore a white leather band on my watch plus white opal earrings.
