1 is faded vest from Hinge a couple of years old.
2/3: an experiment with a clearance rack find. Can this work as a duster/vest?

Recently I posted that I struggle with styling a favorite pair of red pants. Right now the weather is perfect for them. Debbie suggested an animal print top. 1-3 is a sleeveless version. 4 is a sheer long sleeved blouse that moves around too much without some kind of topper.
5 is a layering of blush tee and jacket. The blush is darker than the photo indicates, more of a midtone.
What works? What doesn't do you have ideas for improvements?

These VC red rayon pants are wardrobe orphans, too thin for cold weather, too warm for hot weather. Today should be perfect with layering.
The problem is that I will need a topper.
1: no topper. Blouse is cut too low so layered over a navy silk top.
2: EF ink cardigan
3; JJill linen navy jacket
4: denim jacket
5: ETA Linen blend blazer, Evan Picone
All toppers are thrifted. Do any of these work? I'm open to any suggestions you have as to how to wear these pants

Photos 1/2 are an attempt at 70's with old BR Urban Bootcut jeans, silky bow blouse with vest and chunky heeled sandals.
3/4 is supposed to look more late 60's with a peasant blouse (Lucky) and "love beads" and the same bootcut jeans, this time with strappy wedge sandals.
5-7 shows some wide 70's BR woolen trousers that I wore yesterday. The top is probably not right. I should have taken the photo of the sweater underneath tucked in. Shoes are peeptoes Pikolinos, about the only thing I had for the color and heel height with these trousers. I did wear this with my 70's long leather coat in #8. ( not the same outfit underneath)

Does this work? Especially the lavendar blazer? This was not a ROG outfit.
Photos 1/2 show the RL lavendar jacket with the olive H&M jeans, rayon cream and olive scarf, Target blush tee and tank under it, and brushy nude Bandolino ballet flats. This blazer got mixed reviews last spring.
3. Is without a jacket. Does this side semi-tuck work? 4. Is with a blush Halogen blazer, tee semitucked. 5. Shows the blush blazer and tucked tee.
How should I wear this outfit, if at all? Are some of the pieces not working at all? I welcome your thoughts and ideas.

I was going for a floral week but yesterday's post with the Random Outfit Generator changed my mind when it came up with this. What do you think? Is the roll on the jeans ok? Is the bag too bright? Any comments and suggestions are welcomed.
