Fashion Era Challenge: inspired by 60's and 70's

Photos 1/2 are an attempt at 70's with old BR Urban Bootcut jeans, silky bow blouse with vest and chunky heeled sandals.
3/4 is supposed to look more late 60's with a peasant blouse (Lucky) and "love beads" and the same bootcut jeans, this time with strappy wedge sandals.
5-7 shows some wide 70's BR woolen trousers that I wore yesterday. The top is probably not right. I should have taken the photo of the sweater underneath tucked in. Shoes are peeptoes Pikolinos, about the only thing I had for the color and heel height with these trousers. I did wear this with my 70's long leather coat in #8. ( not the same outfit underneath)

Love the boho vibe in #3 and #4!

Well done, Joy! I bet the long 70's leather jacket looked groovy with the 70's outfit too :)

Thank you, Sharon. I felt boho in that outfit and it was fun.
Jackie, the trousers and coat are almost the same color, which added to the 70's vibe. I really love this buttery soft leather coat and hope it doesn't look too dated.

So great! Special love for #3 :)

Thank you, Rachylou, that top was a pure impulse buy. I like the way it looks but it is not working for a summer top as I'd hoped. It isn't breezy enough. It is part of my spring capsule as long as it doesn't get too hot.

I think you may be a flower child at heart Joy! Excellent outfits all around!

Yes, I loved those Mod dresses. And what happiness to be blessed with a Twiggy figure, something that was not desirable in the 50's when one needed a tiny waist for those full skirts and boobs to be a sweater girl.

Great inspiration looks! I especially like 3/4

My favorite is the second look --- I remember that silhouette!  I think the last outfit would be more authentic with wide leg double knit pants with an elastic waist.  I remember my mother and grandmother's friends being so happy to let dust sit on their irons!  Of course, those knits were less than glorious!

Wooohooooo. You nailed it in #4, Joy. Straight out of the '70s. FABULOUS. And you look great in those boot cuts. Nicely done.
