No Jeans Challenge 3 plus adding a new-to-me color(cobalt) for summer. ETA: another culotte outfit

My Shopping this year is supposed to be used stuff. A favorite consignment shop was having a good Memorial Weekend sale, so went to look for navy tops that could be worn with new-to-me navy pants ( fourth navy shade in my closet!). I came home with a mini black/ white/cobalt capsule with tops for transitional through summer and even possible wi tee wear. Pictured are cobalt Chico’s pull on utility pants at full length and rolled, a Free People boho top, and my navy and black athletic slip-ons. The small beaded bag is also new-to-me via consignment. What do you think? Still have the long COVID hair. And my mothers blue sapphire and silver earrings.
ETA: no Jeans culotte outfit this time with white. Last photo shows the knit crops I am wearing under the culottes for warmth. I also added a white denim jacket for warmth. I think I like the black version better. What do you think?

What a lovely outfit on you, Joy!  Everything goes so well together, and that bag is simply gorgeous.  The new cobalt pants look very versatile.

Thank you, Minaminu, Angie, Tanya and Mirjana, this outfit makes my wardrobe feel refreshed. The top looks equally good with white or black bottoms and the beaded bag is fun to wear...it’s like a piece of jewelry. I have an old silk tee that is cobalt with tiny black or navy polka dots and a red, pale grey (sort of looks white) and blue sleeveless top that looks somewhat patriotic for summer events. All these tops and plain ones in white or almost any color will work with the cobalt pants. What may not work is my cobalt jacket which is a bit darker and has a bit of purple in the blue. It is in danger of being edited out, but fits so well.

Joy, I love the outfit! What fabulous finds. Great pants and such a sweet bag! Is the lacy top also new (to you)? The outfit is so pretty and interesting.
One of the things I have missed during the pandemic was second hand shopping. I have a favorite charity shop where I used to stop by almost every weekend before corona came. No I haven’t been there for over 14 months. I can’t wait to start again. It is so fun to find new unique accessories, like your beaded bag.

Katerina, the lacy top is also new to me, from the same consignment store. It was picked out by an SA to go with the navy pants, but I don’t think it goes that well with them. I did get a blue short sleeved top there that does blend well. It is more summery and will probably end up being worn more with a denim skirt or white cropped pants. I hope that you can get back to your favorite charity shop soon and that you find some fun things.

Thank you slim cat and Rachylou. I have some summer crops in a black and white print that have not yet tried with this top that I think will work got pattern mixing.

I have been staying away from jeans but did not get photos of my dresses. Here is today’s outfit with another culotte outfit and whites and silver. I would love to know your thoughts and styling dos and donuts.
The last photo shows what I am wearing on a chilly day for warmth under the linen culottes.
