  Thank you Marley and Summer. This light blue has survived major closet purges because of the shade. It seems to work even though I wear mostly warm tones.

  Thank you all for your encouraging comments. I'm happy that the shoes were comfortable all day. I did get blood on the white jeans and had to change them. Rose bushes can have wickedly sharp thorns.

  Suz does this well, but I actually like your version better. The black and white polka dots really make the outfit. (Plus I don't like sweater wrinkles lol) Your shoes are adorable, and the color scheme looks great with your hair. Great job!

  Trekkie, Shannon and Lisa, thank you for your encouragement. I will repeat this outfit if the weather cooperates. I'm happy that the rather young shoes are looking ok for someone my age. I suspect they are best with jeans rather than frocks.
