Picasso: The Acrobat

I hope you can get a general idea from these very poor photos of my plan for interpreting this painting. From my travel wardrobe:
Jeans: BR
Tee and sweater: Gap
Sneakers: Born
I had planned to wear Cole Haan stone athletic flats w/o socks but it is too cold this morning. I had no lavendar with me or around this rental.
Suggestions and comments welcomed. Had a haircut this week.
Angie, thank you for this challenge. I still hope to try more of the paintings.
It has been especially a treat to see everyone's ideas for outfits. I hope that you have not worn out your hand/wrists trying to comment.

Can we see the new haircut:-) (no picties added)

  • Joy replied 9 years ago

Sorry, my connection failed. It does that a lot. I added photos. The haircut is not a big change. It has a middle part instead of side.

SO FAB!!! You just need to find a purple wall and stand in front of it! :)

  • lyn67 replied 9 years ago

Much better(with picties added)! Joy, I ove your all whites featuring some very acrobatic legs and bod-and I  meant all whites literally, from head to...ankles:-)

Love the acrobatic pose, Joy! You've done a fab interpretation! It's great to see you post while you're away :)

Gorgeous, you fit little creature. You had me with the white-out.

  • rachylou replied 9 years ago

I love that you did a white-out for this one, concentrating on the figure.

  • rabbit replied 9 years ago

I love the white out with your hair!

  • Sara L. replied 9 years ago

Nice! The white out looks good on you. I love those silver shoes.

Wow! You are made for whiteout, and the movement in your action shot turns you into a painting of your own. Beautiful Joy!

  • Suz replied 9 years ago

Fabulous! And I love Aliona's comment about the action shot.

  • columbine(erin) replied 9 years ago

I like the white out, especially with your hair.

Sorry to be so late getting back here, and thank you all for taking time to comment.
Mary, believe me, I looked for a purple wall. :)
Lyn67 and Jackie, I wish I had a full length mirror for the pose.
Angie, Rachylou, Rabbit, Sara, Aliona, and Columbine, I had to do this painting because of the possibility of using whiteout.
Sara, these shoes are even more comfortable than most sneakers. I should try to duplicate.
Aliona and Suz, the action shot was fun but I think it could have been better executed with a full length mirror.

Joy, you are a gorgeous acrobat in white! I love your haircut. And those sneakers! Perfect for the athletic acrobat theme, and they are awesome with your outfit. You and Suz are such good sports, joining in the challenge while away from home.

  • Joy replied 9 years ago

Sharan, I'm glad that you like the haircut. It is scary getting it done away from home. I'd not thought of the sneakers fitting with the acrobat theme. Thank you got your generous comments.

White out! Too cool for school :) Love your sneaks.

  • Beth Ann replied 9 years ago

Well done, Joy!  I amazed at how well traveling forums do at these challenges.

White out is particularly striking with your coloring.

  • Joy replied 9 years ago

Approprio and Beth Ann, thank you for your sweet comments. This is the first time that I have travelled with white and it is a nice change.

  • AM replied 9 years ago

Love the lightness of this look. And your pose is wonderful!

  • Debbie replied 9 years ago

You are adorable! Love the whiteout and the pose.

  • Jaime replied 9 years ago

Joy this is fabulous - outfit and poses intended!

  • Joy replied 9 years ago
