Winter white jeans 2 ways

Using Angie's ensemble post as a model, I wore my white Kut Catherine boyfriend jeans with navy (1/2) and with black (3). I need a new black belt and wish I owned a citron coat, but a bright pink one stood in. I also wore it over the black leather jacket in 3.

Both look great but my favorite is the one with the fuscia jacket, I love that color and it goes great with the suede booties, too.

I really like #3. I like the repetion of black, and the pants bookend your hair. Very nice!

I love the black and white!

Great combo 1&2 showing the belt are my favorite. It's a light fit but i think it is grounded with these colors from the boots and belt.

    FABULOUS.

Love outfit 2--your sunglasses are SO stylish, oh my goodness!
I'm inspired to get some for myself now!

    I like both versions!

    So gorgeous.  Love it!

Thank you for your encouraging comments. I felt felt good in both outfits except for having to fiddle with the belt in 3. The jeans could have a higher rise to be ideal.
In 1/2 I notice that my socks show a bit with the booties. Is that distracting? I tried to keep them low contrast but it was too cold to wear nude stockings with footies as I can in fall and spring.

Both are great versions but I do love #1 with the coat especially!

  • Sal replied 7 years ago

You look chic Joy and I see no issue with the socks.  I like both outfits a lot.

  • Joy replied 7 years ago

Thank you, Texstyle.  I found that I love the color of that coat with navy/ink.

Thank you, Sally.  I'm glad that the socks are ok.  It extends the season if they can be worn.  All my woolies have had a work out this month.

Great outfits. I especially love the jeans and booties with the pink coat.

Yummy colours. I love it with the coat too :)

Love your low waisted white jeans both ways. (Thinking about waistedness after Angie's post.)

  • Joy replied 7 years ago

Thank you, shedev, Caro and shevia. I have enjoyed that pink coat for a few years now. It has a light lining but is unfortunately not warm enough for most winter days. It is great in October for breast cancer awareness and in cool spring as an alternative to black.
Shevia, I agree with what you said on Angie's blog post. Mid rise are high on me; high rise jeans are still a challenge. I will be looking for high or mid-rise white ones this spring. These are actually higher than many of my jeans. yikes!

I really like both versions. The first coat is a wonderful color. The second coat is perfect, too.

  • approprio replied 7 years ago

Two great looks. Slight preference for the second, but I do like the tonal contrast of the light shoes in the first.

  • Sara L. replied 7 years ago

These are great!  I like how the light belt and shoes tie #1 together.  I can't see your socks so no worries there.  I wish my white jeans fit more like yours - slightly loose.  Mine are tighter than I would like.

Those are 2 very awesome looks, Joy.  Haven't remembered to wear my white jeans much this winter, thank you for the inspiration!

  • RobinF replied 7 years ago

I like both but my favorite is the first, love that coat and the tan booties.

  • Joy replied 7 years ago

Thank you, Sara, Laurie and Robin. Laurie, this is the perfect time to pull out the white jeans to welcome longer daylight hours.

  • harrietcambria replied 7 years ago

    Black and white is great

  • Tisa replied 7 years ago

I love how the colours work together in #1. The black jacket and the black shoes in #2 are gorgeous. Very nice.

  • Bijou replied 7 years ago

I love both looks equally, I like seeing the more hard edge look of #2 on you! It is always good to be fierce some of the time.

  • Jenni NZ replied 7 years ago

Hi there Joy, great pics. Personally I prefer look 2 with the black and white, as I like the contrast of the white jeans and black boots. I prefer the length of the jeans with those, and you look more rock-chick in that outfit.

  • rachylou replied 7 years ago

I particularly like the leg extension of the light colour boots :)

  • cindysmith replied 7 years ago

Jaw meet floor. I love #2. It's tough yet chic, fierce as all get out. It's a pretty perfect blend of Rate and ladylike! I also love it with your hair, and it makes me want a biker jacket (which is en epic search, what with my arms feeling so constricted in anything not knit).

I do like the fuschia coat outfit too, it looks bright and happy and it's great on you.

  • replied 7 years ago

Ooh, super looks, both of them!

  • Suz replied 7 years ago

Both outfits are wonderful but of course I have a weakness for fuchsia!
