Very late to the party

I am very late to the dressy party but was away from home and had nothing appropriate with me. Here are a couple of dressy-for-me outfits. The first could be another version of the LBD, now dressed up more with a beaded jacket and black beaded bag. The shoes are the closest I still have to heels. About everything is old. The second outfit features and old taupe silk EF dress with the beautiful bone silk coat from Fabber tulle.
I am using old wedge shoes and should have painted my toe nails. Pretend they are silver to match the shoes and bag. I am wearing long pearls and pearl drop earrings. The coat is perfect with my bone EF items but I got lazy and ran out of time to play with the bone.

Oh my gosh, Joy! You look so elegant in all these outfits. They are all beautiful. What an interesting necklace in no 2! I adore the second look. The stunning silk coat with the dress is so beautiful. I love the light taupey pallet and the textures.

I'm jealous of your elegant taupe and cream evening wear! The pieces are beautiful, and look stunning on you! How clever of you to turn heads with a late entrance. :-)

Late or not, this are all gorgeous!  That taupe dress is so flattering on you.

Absolutely stunning! I love both outfits. That height of pump is very chic and I'd say pretty fashionable in France.

Thank you for your kind comments.  Again I am sorry I am so late. N, I looked for my dressy black patent flats but had not worn them for so long that I could not find them.  I ‘m glad to hear that low heels are fashionable in France.

When you look this good, it doesn’t matter what time you arrive! You have such great accessories; I love your necklaces. And you look smashing in black.

Thank you for taking time to look and comment. I wanted to get feedback from this group on these outfits. The light neutral I would wear to a dressy wedding. The black might go to a nice restaurant or a party.

Beautiful - I especially love #2/3 - you wear light neutrals so well!

Beautiful and I’m glad you could make it. I love #3. That dress is so elegant. I like the black dress too. The necklace is gorgeous.

Thank you Shevia, JAileen and MsMaven. The black and white necklace was a gift from a dear friend.
The pearl necklace is a favorite of different shapes and colors of pearls.

Love #2 especially - that texture with your hair & natural colouring has got me craving mille feuille now. In other words, you look a 'treat' ;) haha
