OK, where is the alpaca sweater dress from? I need to own a sweater dress, have been searching endlessly, and it turns out you've been hiding it from me in your closet! Info, please?

Love all of these (and others from previous posts). Do you think you'll try this again next year? What window of time feels right? Are you still dressing festively?

All fab, but especially loving #1 and #2. Snoopy and pearls - how can that not be KILLER.

Angie and kkards, Snoopy with pearls makes me smile.
Kerry, I pull anything festive out right before Thanksgiving each year and wear it like crazy through New Years Day, then pack it away because I'm ready for a change. Since Tanya's challenge lasts through Epiphany I will continue to festive up my outfits a bit longer. I expect pearls and sparkly snowflake earrings to play a big part. I hope to wear more frocks than usual too.
Bennett, LOL. I bought the alpaca dress plus a black one from a Forum Member some time ago. They are both wonderful soft dresses from Peruvian Connection originally. When I wear them, people want to touch me. LOL They also layer well over other pieces for more warmth and buttoned all the way up, form a turtleneck for a different look.
Thank you, Ledonna, Shedev and graycat, for the encouraging comments.

I like your timing. Not sure I'd do through Epiphany - I'm kind of over Christmas by New Years. Our Canadian Thanksgiving is much earlier than yours so I think next year I'll use a family reunion (3rd Saturday of November) as my start point.
Did you buy anything new for this capsule this year? Or were you just trying to work what you already had?
I think my students will really like this next year. Fun!

Kerry, I did not buy anything new this year for this capsule. Angie's blog posts on festive outfit formulas gave me lots of ideas with what I already had. The weather was colder than I'm used to in this season,so that limited me a bit, but I never did an an occasion to pull out the ugly Christmas sweater which is part of this capsule or a full length sequined skirt, but I have them just in case the right occasion comes along. I don't know how old your students are, but I was always careful to try to be a bit festive without being a reminder that Christmas was nearly here and have them more excited than they already were. I am usually over the holidays by New Years, so we will see how the challenge goes this last week. I have some ideas that are more low key. Today I am wearing heather grey wool...a sweater and matching sweater pants with lots of silver jewelry and silver loafers for shine. It doesn't scream Christmas but still feels festive.
Angie, Bonnie and Shevia, I'm glad that #1 looks good to you. That outfit was forgettable and warm and comfortable.

Has Angie crowned you "Queen of Festive Dressing" yet? You deserve a crown. All these outfits are wonderful. My favorites are #1, #2, #5 and #6.

Suzand El Cee, thank you for your lovely comments. Those were my favorites too. 3 is a little too gearish for my style and 4 needs the added texture of the furry vest in 5. I could use suggestions for styling the red ( gift) down vest in 3. It is fitted and longish rather than short and boxy.
