WIW: Recent mishmash of styles

I haven't posted WIWs for awhile, so here are a few. I've not felt very stylish or creative so would appreciate your thoughts on what works and what doesn't in these outfits. I think you have seen all the pieces before
1. Talbots shift dress with EF obi belt and blush cardigan. MeToo blush flats, old pewter bag. I was playing with blush and black. Too much contrast for me?
2. EF black pencil skirt, MK belt, gold silky tee.
3-5. Same as 2 with Citron linen blend jacket, MK watch, Pikolinos shooties, Elliot Lucca clutch, DIY necklace.
6. Black silk crops with Classiques Entiere silk top, j.Renee booties
7. Denim pencil skirt, leopard shirt, MeToo flats, MK belt
8.-9 Polkadot fit'n flare dress, MeToo pumps, MK watch
10. Halogen seamed pencil skirt, VC blazer, thrifted Nautica top, Dr. Scholls flats.
11. Paige rolled crops with same top in 10, American Eagle denim jacket, Nautica top, Dr. Scholls flats
Suggestions for improvement and styling ideas welcomed as well as what should be culled.

    Well, personally I don't dislike any of these outfits. I think you look great in all of them. My favourites by far, though, are 8/9 and 10! These are fantastic! Also, that polkadot dress is to die for!

    Darling, Joy. First of all. You rock my style world. Pushing 70 and LOOK AT YOU. So beautifully elegant and on trend. It makes my heart happy.

    I am blown away by #2, #6, #7, #8, #10 and #11. The simplicity of those outfits makes you shine. And sweet thing, you shining above your outfit is the most killer of all.

    I am with Angie, Joy. You don't feel stylish? It must be the weird transition of the seasons, because you look amazing!! I love 2, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11 and your fab hair!

    Wow, these are fantastic. #1 is not so much too much contrast. I think your waist is lower and so the other outfits are more at the right place than the obi belt. #2 and 6 are super. The dress looks very pretty and i like the waist where it is. 10 is a great smart flats look.

    Great outfits!  My favorites are 6 and 10 (looks like those bright, clean colors, like the citron top in 6 and the bright blazer in 10 work really well on you).  I also like 3-4, especially with all the accessories (great shoes there).

    In the interest of full disclosure I love 8&9 for myself! The necklace is perfection and mimics the dots SO well. I am used to clean sharp looks on you so 8 is a bit more from-frou than your normal look. This is a pleasant surprise. 

    #3,7 and 11 are my absolute favorites. I think Citron is your new "it" color. I adore it on you and that jacket is heavenly. Marking as a favorite ;-)

    You look amazing Joy.  I haven't checked your WIW's for a long time and I was blown away at your certain style persona.  By that I mean you look confidant in all of these outfits, and that is very stylish.

    Suz, I think it does have something to do with the seasonal change. It was 91 today with lots of humidity.
    Unfrumped, that observation about the waist is valuable. I'm always fighting a short torso to get proportions right. My narrowest spot is pretty high.
    Makrame, clear brights do seem to be my best colors, although it wasn't always so. Your noticing helps me notice.
    Day, when I found this dress at an upscale consignment, it reminded me of then current Kate Spade dresses and what sold me was that it was a good length. The necklace is my attempt to fill in too much open neck and no cleavage;)

    #2, #6 and #8 are my absolute favorites but truly you look terrific in every one and seem totally on top of your game no matter how you feel inside!

    Looks like elegant eclectic, not a mish-mash.  And you shine in every photo.  2, 6, and 11 are standouts for me, although the sheer prettiness of the polka dot dress pulls my heart strings.  A ladylike dress is always a winning choice!

    Beautiful Joy, it is absolutely beyond me how you could possibly feel anything other than completely and utterly Fab with a capital F! I love each and every one of these looks, with a special gasp of delight for no. 10!
