WIW: Shirt Dresses

I have two shirt dresses that I wore for this post. I may have a sleeveless one for summer but did not see it with my dresses. 1-4 is a denim dress worn yesterday over black pants and bright pink. Shoes are consignment sequined flats with a blue and pinkish red floral pattern.
5-8: the black linen shirt dress worn over bone white EF pants and EF shoes.
This dress is on its way out. These outfits were both worn for home chores and dog walking and a bit of garden work dead heading spent tulips and daffodils.

Look at you rocking your shirt dresses, Joy! You do home chores, gardening, and dog walking in style :)

Is that a little denim crossbody too? Adorable.

How is it going with dressing and incorporating your new insulin meter? You look like you've got it all figured out!

I like the first especially, but why pass on the second dress?

Angie, the glucose meter will work best with a dress without a defined waist and loose in front. The little denim cross body was made by an aunt and sent to me.
Suntiger, that second dress is a lot of work. The black linen fabric make it a pet hair magnet so I don’t wear it much unless I can spend time with a lint roller. Also I can only wear it open as a duster. If it is a good look for me, I can keep it.

I like both these looks on you Joy.  So stylish for walking a dog and being at home.  Shirt dresses suit you.

Thank you, Sal.  I know you like dresses and look wonderful in them.

These looks are fantastic. Do them again!

Both outfits are super! Why is the second one out?

Thank you, Rachylou and Shevia. Shevia, do you like the second outfit? The shirt dress worn as duster is such a magnet for lint and pet hair and therefore is fussy to deal with.

This is a great look. No 1 is very chic! I'm glad that it's working out with your glucose meter.

Thank you, Brooklyn, yasmin12, hereforthecake, and tors torontogirl for your sweet comments. I love those EF shoes, sort of a sneaker hybrid, they are so comfortable.
