WIW for Valentine's Day

Inspired by the colors in Angie's blog ensemble, but limited by cold and snow.
My metallic wedge suede booties would look better but these old laceless oxfords were chosen for their light color and that I wouldn't mind so much if I have to walk through slush and snow. I get my hair trimmed today.
The last photo includes my blush pink wool coat and dark red bag.

What fun print on the sweater – it's a day for roses cardigans!  You look great and the coat shape and color are beautiful!

Love the rose cardi. You look great as always. That coat would be a great item to duplicate in some form. Such a classy, pretty color for you.

Your oh-so-pretty cardigan appeals to my inner romantic AND my inner gardener! You look lovely for Valentine's Day both with and without your coat. I also love your red bag!

I love the way you've combined the stripe and the floral, Joy!
And this is a great example of combining blush and darker red.
    Happy Valentine's day!

Thank you each for your comments. The rose print cardi was a thrift store find years ago and I loved it at first sight. It has sparkly "diamond" buttons and a bit of silver in the roses. It's the first time I've tried it with this grey/white stripe tee, but I have enjoyed pattern mixing it with black and white polkadots and a vertically striped silk shirt.

Your outfit greeted me from the front page. Lovely combination of the stripes and the joyful (yes!) cardigan, but the coat really seals the deal. You look simply delicious.

The blush wool coat is my favorite piece from this ensemble. Thumbs up also for the courage of wearing white bottoms on snow; as Angie recently wrote: sometimes practicality must go out the window in favor of a high happiness factor.
