  You look fab and I think the sneakers work perfectly.  If you wear bracelets or a watch, that might have been a nice addition, but the outfit looks great without.

  You look fab, the silver sneakers work super, I prefer them then red shoes, they go with your hair. If you like, maybe silver necklace, but for me this outfit is wonderful as it is now.

  Looks perfect to me, including the shoes. I'm not a scarf person so I vote no. I think tweed is sufficiently interesting without any extra adornments.

  Angie is the genius behind this outfit. Pre-YLF I'd never have thought to combine a tweed jacket with graphic tee and jeans. The jacket was an Angie pick a few years ago and I almost bought it in the red and in black. I wish I had. It is from Hinge (Nordstroms) and has interesting zipper detailing.
  Mirjana, I just remembered that I bought a zipper necklace just to wear with this jacket.
  Andrea, bracelets are a great idea with these sleeves.

  Aquamarine, you are right. There is a lot going on with this jacket.
  Cat, that graphic tee got lots of raves.
  Zoiechic and Diana, the red color sold me on this version of the jacket. It is kind of unexpected for a tweed.

  Gorgeous, Joy! I love this outfit with the silver sneaks. I want red shoes too - but for me, this outfit is better without them. More interesting and less matchy. (My taste, I know!)

  I like the outfit as shown but the changes you suggested would work well, too. The red belt matching the red jacket and the silver shoes matching the bag are nice touches and the tee is so fun. What does it say?

  Totally love this, Joy. You look fresh and energetic. And I absolutely think the silver sneakers are the right choice (although, it makes me laugh, because "silver sneakers" is the name of the senior exercise class at the rec center where I work out.)

  Bonnie, the tee was left behind by my son. It says "A city built on rock 'n roll would be structurally unsound".
  Joyce, when I think about it, you are right. Older women seem much more free with fashion than where I used to live. Then there seemed to be unspoken "rules".
  Ryce and Jenn (and Viva), funny about these sneakers. I love them for their comfort, ease and look. Jenn they do make me feel entergetic, which those senior exercisers need to be. My insurance does not pay for it but I should join anyway. They seem to get a good workout.

  This is a fantastic outfit joy, perfect the way it is. I think with the red belt, silver sneaks are just right. Red would be too much. I'm constantly amazed how you manage to pull these ensembles out of thin air.

  This outfit is awesome, Joy. Nothing else required--it is super just the way it is. I think a scarf would detract from the graphic tee, and its casual feel. I like the metallic sneakers, and they give an extra touch of casual to the look. This outfit is less refined than usual for you, but you definitely own the look--you look perfectly at ease.

  Thank you, all who commented. I enjoyed wearing this outfit, although, as Sharan says, it is not as polished as I usually like to dress. I am thrilled that it gets YLF approval . Please tell me if I am dressing too youthful for my age so as to look silly.
