WIW: Blue Lantern with Mama's Beads

This weekend the EF lantern dress went to Mass, to a reception, and to dinner with friends. Each time I pulled out necklaces of my mother's. Yesterday would have been my parents 70th anniversary.
1/2: with Bobeau cardi and Mom's glass beads, Aerosole gold sandals
3/4: with bronze flats (looking at the photo, the gold sandals would have been a better choice), Elliot Lucca clutch, Mom's gold tone necklace.
5-8: with consignment EF chocolate cardi, thrifted belt and sandals, Mom's gold and pearl necklace. Do you like this best with or without the belt?
I nearly always wear the gold chains with tiny pendants. Friends may not recognize me without one, but I probably should have removed them here.

I'm so glad to see your new dress is getting out on the town! You've really made it look different every time. I love Mom's necklaces, especially the one in 2 and 8. So unique!

Joy, that dress has already earned its CPW! And no wonder. It looks lovely on you with all these different jewels. 2 and 8 are gorgeous!

So pretty!  This dress is already a workhorse. Gotta love that!

Beautiful jewelry in each pairing, and what a wonderful way to remember your mom.

I'm sad! The size small is on the way to me but I've already tried small in rhubarb and know I would be happier with medium...which is of course sold out. I'm back to stalking...surely there is someone who ordered a medium who wants a small!

I could wear the small, but it's a touch too bombshell that way for my taste. The reviews said size down...oh well! It looks great on you!

Oh my goodness Joy - that dress is pure magic on you every time you wear it! I love all three interpretations here. How sweet to wear your Mama's jewelry :)

I need to give this dress a try, it looks really nice. Btw, the brown cardigan was my very first EF purchase. Wearing it today. Talk about cpw.

I like all three interations and I love how the dress looks completely different each way you've chosen to style.  I like the belt version in in #6.  While the small chains don't look bad, I think your jewelry would have had a cleaner, simpler feel without the chains.

The necklace in #8 is just gorgeous. The dress is such a spectacular piece on its own. I wear small gold pendants everyday but when I am wearing a statement necklace, I remove the gold pendants.

What a versatile dress! It looks lovely.

Such a lovey post. I LOVE #8 on you! That's a WOW piece, Joy. With a nostalgic sentiment to match.

3 lovely and different versions. The jewelry is lovely. I have a small necklace of emerald green murano glass beads that was my maternal grandmothers and I think about her when I wear it.

Beautiful doesn't even begin to describe it...

Stunning! I have a couple of pieces of jewelry from my Mom and it always makes me feel better.

I am completely blown away. That dress is just too gorgeous on you Joy and your mother's necklaces are stunning. I prefer it without the belt but I am just like that - it looks good with the belt too.
