WIW: Blatantly trying for an Angie copy (ETA: better photos, shoes and jean jacket

I saw today's blog before dressing for a day at the zoo and had to use my white Kut Catherine BFs, and new blue plaid shirt. I needed very comfortable walking shoes so went with chocolate rather than cognac for belt and footwear. The shoes are probably the oldest pair that I own..Ecco bowling shoes, I think they were called. I usually wear them covered mostly with with trousers but today rolled the jeans to let them show. Too dated? Do I dare wear the shirt completely tucked like this again? Too warm for a topper. But I would have used a faded denim jean jacket, slightly over sized.

    You amaze me with your magic closet where you can reach in after an Angie post and bring forth the outfit she wore...I adore the jeans with the plaid shirt and shoes..Can't wait to see the oversized denim jacket with this outfit...
    You were indeed the grandest one in all of the zoo...smile...

    Fabulous copy, Joy, and when the formula works, I say go for it, because that's what I do, too.  I know what you mean about too warm for a topper; we're having those same kind of hot days.  Looks great tucked btw.

    Thank you for your comments and encouragement. The outfit felt comfortable for a beautiful day at the zoo. I worried about tucking with my apple tendencies.
    I will try to get a better photo of the shoes. I remembered that the round laces never stayed tied very long. Tucking them Angie style solved the problem.

    Ornella, I am going to plan similar outfits for an autumn uniform. Best of all, I can shop my closet and footwear collection.
    Marley, the picture is blurry. The more clear ones didn't seem to make it from the Cloud to my iPad. I'll try to add some better ones once my phone is recharged.

    Angie, I hope that you don't mind my stealing your fall unfit idea. I didn't duplicate the Kut Catherine boyfriends because I have another pair of white jeans ( Kut Diana skinnies), but now I wish that I had because I always reach for the BFs .

    For those who asked, I added what I hope is a better focused photo of the outfit, one with the jean jacket ( Target recently, sized up to a L ( most of my jackets are XS), and a close up of the shoes.
