WI(Might)W: pointy toes with leather pants?

I'd like your opinion of this outfit and especially the pointy toe Impos with it before wearing them outside, so nonreturnable.
Gap light grey pullover
Older silk bow blouse (should I remove the bow?)
Thrifted 99cent black leather trousers
Too much black with black pants and booties or long leg line?
I will probably wear a black puffer over this outfit for needed warmth. At least that black will be a different texture.
Yay= looks ok, wear it; Nay= change

First, I almost can't get past reading 99 cent leather trousers!!!  I thought $300 was a good deal last week.  Ugh.
I would want to vary the texture from pant to shoe if wearing the same color.  For instance, a snakeskin or suede, or calf hair.  But they certainly go together just fine.

99 cent leather pants?! Unbelievable deal! You look amazing in them… and I think (Yay!) they look very nice with the black booties. (Gives you a long leg line.) But I think you could also (for something different) wear them with lighter shoes/boots to bookend your lovely sweater (and hair). Snakeskin would be fab.

I like it. I think it would look more modern with a less fitted sweater. Not sure if the bow blouse works under this sweater as well.

Personally, I love the whole look on you, Joy!

I like it as-is, but you could swap the bow on the blouse for a half windsor for a different look...

Tres chic! I agree with Annagybe if you wanted to make it look more current a slouchier sweater would be nice too.

I can't believe you found 99c leather pants that fit that well! That has to be a new bargaining record here at YLF.

I like it. Although I'm not a bow girl, it seems to work more as a scarf when it's worn over the sweater. I'd wear this whole outfit!

I really enjoy these leather pants on cold days. They were on seasonal clearance at a thrift shop. The waist is high to my natural waist, but a long top covers that.
I gave my sweater some sharp tugs to stretch it out a bit. I think last years longer Gap chunky pullover probably looks better. For those looking for leather or mixed media pants, the Rack has several good versions on their clearance racks right now, including the Halogen and Vince Camuto versions.
Thank you all for helping me evaluate this look and for the ideas to update it. I'm going to put them into action.

Great pants and booties - I do like Anna's idea about a less fitted top, but you still look great!

Joy - I adore this look on you!! Beautiful long leg line - me loveth the pants with the booties!! I have been looking for a cable knit sweater and that one looks beautiful on you. Total envy. I can't believe the score on those leather pants - they look like they were made for you refined, simple, chic. Great outfit and perfect just as it is!!

They look fab, Joy!  I love the entire outfit on you.

There you go again. Looking just fantastic! I like the leather pants. I thought I wanted leather pants too and finally gifted myself with a pair. I have enjoyed wearing them tho I wondered if someone my age (70 next week) should. Joy, you always look good :)

Long leg line for sure, the leather pants fit you so well. I'm not too keen on the silky bow over the chunky knit, but the whole silhouette is something I would try in a heartbeat. Then reading Anna's comment, I also learned that a more oversize pullover would be more modern for sure when it hadn't even occurred to me... Getting inspiration and ideas.

Leather pants, and cale knit, how fun!  I also like the pointy toe here.  The sweater and bow blouse are classic but you added edge with leather trousers and pointy footwear.  Nice job!
