Utility Pretty 3 Ways + Chain Strap Bag

I have another couple of ideas for this ensemble that I will try to photograph later.
1/2: olive utility pants with cream ruffled top and snake bag
3: floral top with grey quilted bag
4/5: silk print top with white bag

All outfits are great as usual, but I can't stop watching 1/2, cream ruffled top is so beautiful. OMG I am speechless, love, love, love it so much. Snake bag is perfect with that outfit, really gorgeous you stylish Lady.

Gorgeous outfits as usual Joy.  I am also loving 1 and 2.  That cream blouse is beautiful on you.  Utility pretty to perfection.

Thank you, Mirjana. As soon as I tried on that blouse, I had to have it. That was a surprise and I'd never have even considered trying it if it had not been for YLF and members sporting similar tops. Ruffles are seldom flattering on my rather boyish figure. I may try to wear it with pearls, or at least pearl earrings or ring, for more pretty.

Add me to the list of admirers of the ruffle top! And so nice you have a few chain handle purses to play with.

Nice outfits joy.  Another vote for 1/2.  I just love how the cream ruffled blouse contrasts with the utility pants.  The handbag is the icing on the cake.  Perfect.

Great looks!  I really like #1 with the pale ruffled blouse.  I also like #3 with the turquoise top and your olive pants.  I believe I have the same olive pants but I've never thought to pair them with turquoise.  I'm going to have to try that combo soon.

    Knockout!

I'm happy that the ruffle top is getting approval.
Muffin, I really found that I liked this type of chain strap bag, but now they are a little too small for my needs. They might be listed as convertible bags as they can be crossbody, shoulder or clutches with the chain removed or tucked inside. As a clutch, I find the chain handy to hang the bag in a public restroom.

I too love your ruffle top - perfection! Personally I wouldn't detract from it by wearing a crossbody or chain strap bag + I would carry a tote instead.

  • Joy replied 6 years ago

That makes sense, lozz_oz. good idea.

These are all so pretty on you, Joy. I think this ensemble was just made for you! I especially love the ruffled top in outfit 1 on you. Your chain-strap bags are all fab, too.

All outfits are fab. Outfit 1 is beautiful - that ruffle top with the pants is so eye catching.

Joy, what a fab collection of handbags! and of course, you've styled them wonderfully

  • Aquamarine replied 6 years ago

I like them all but I LOVE the first one! You're such a trooper, Joy. You can almost always put together one of Angie's ensembles from your closet.

I love your diagonal ruffle top, and the outfit it makes. So fab!

Love the way you style the white shoes.  They look fresh again (well, without the L'eggs Suntan pantyhose, anyone).

Another shout out for the bag and diagonal ruffle!

  • Angie replied 6 years ago

    YOU ROCKED IT.

  • Joy replied 6 years ago

Thank you all for your kind comments and encouragement with what is more volume on top than my comfort level.
Beth Ann I am not wearing any suntan pantyhose, just bare ankles. They are tanner than I would expect and I am wondering if I should be treating then to sun block. Ack! I remember those Leggs suntan pantyhose and orange legs.
