Stripes, Dots, Giraffe, Plaid for Halloween

I really don't intend this to look like a costume, but wanted to play with Angie's Friday ensemble today. The pieces are mostly in my Finds below except that the tee under the orange blazer is an orange and light orange stripe. I could easily sub in leopard flats or shirt. Too much?

You are the pattern mixed Halloween Queen. CREATIVE, and fabulous - just like you.

Thank you, Angie. THANK YOU for the idea!

    This is so fun, Joy.

This is absolutely you, expert for pattern mix, really lovely.

    Love the pattern mixing.

Thank you, Dianna, Mirjana, and citygirldoc for your votes of confidence for this crazy pattern mixing. We had snow so I had to switch the flats for my snake booties to keep an animal pattern. My leopard booties are not moisture-proof. The new SE olive coat had its first outing too.

Awesome pattern mixing. Fun and maximal. I don't think it's too much.

Awesome and amazing! I really love this. And I really like the boots you switched to. I wish they still made those.

We've been having perfect Indian summer weather for the past week, but snow is forecast for this weekend.

    Rather grand actually!

Brooklyn, JAileen and Shevia, thank you for a huge boost. JAileen, when I got those booties, they were out of my comfort zone but now I wish I'd duplicated then and bought the same pair in leopard when they were available. Enjoy your Indian summer. We went from a record high in the 70s to 20's in a few hours. Snow this morning but back to the 70's tomorrow.

Sounds like a car crash, but actually looks wonderful, I love this outfit on you, brilliant.

It looks really good! I wish I could color & pattern mix HALF this well!

  • Joy replied 6 years ago

Thank you, Skylurker and Cindysmith. Cindy, just throw a bunch of things on the bed and you will see new combinations.
