Your luxurious sweaters look so pretty and cosy, and perfect for the blizzard weather. I think olive looks great with your hair. Love the colors in the nubby scarf and the earrings together with the green. I wonder what it would look like if you tried the olive jeans with the olive sweater, just for fun....

Thank you, Christel. I think the olive sweater will look fine with the olive jeans. That is a good idea for St Pat's day if it is cold.

You look good in olive and the star necklace set is a fun addition to your beautiful fair isle sweater.

Both sweaters look good to me!

Bonnie , I am happy that you like me in olive. Shevia, the sweaters are very different when it comes to warmth. I enjoy both.

Both sweaters look lovely on you Joy! And the turquoise in pic 3 just makes my heart sing :)

Thank you, Rain. The scarf was a gift and I thought I would never wear it but it has become a favorite and I like the way it ties olive and turquoise or olive and white together.

Thank you, Mirjana and Angie. I am wearing the scarf again today to tie together turquoise jeans, olive sweater and white booties. I hope to get a photo later, but you have seen it all before, just not together.

Today’s outfit 3/15 is EF olive Merino wool sweater with EF turquoise jeans, same scarf, white booties and bag.
Does the olive help keep this from looking too springy?

FABULOUS, and my fave of the week, sweet Ruth. Turquoise is smashing with olive and white. You're clever :)

I would never have thought to pair olive with turquoise but it totally works. Great outfit!

I must have gotten the idea from suntiger.

I love how you get dressed even if you don’t leave the house ! I do that too , I say why not :). YLF!

Joy replied 5 years ago
Thank you, Taylor. I feel more like doing stuff when dressed and one never knows who may come to the door, even in a blizzard. Besides, my clothes are warm and comfortable so I don't own lounge wear.

Saturday, Day 6: in a continuing search for green I am wearing the olive jeans yet again and a BR striped tank with a thrifted EF light sour olive jacket and new olive socks from a local sock store. It was just warm enough with under layers of a tank and shapewear top. The striped tee kept sliding up so I changed into an old Karen Kane mesh floral top under the same jacket, the top has greens, purple and some white. The twisted little scarf is from Gap years ago and has the same purple and greens in a different floral design. To go out babysitting, I put on gold metallic sneakers and used a gold bag.
