Skirted Combat Boot Chic

Not sure this outfit is combat chic but I did enjoy it, inspired by the blog’s Equestrian outfit, but I did not do black. This is mostly burgundy and brown. The skirt is also not the right length or material but a burgundy leather A-line, it was cold so I wore dark brown tights for warmth. The blazer is a brown and cream glen plaid. Worn over a dark brown EF silk basic long sleeved tee.
Same burgundy quilted ankle boots as last time.

I think I really like you in boots, Joy!

I'm not sure what that means Rachylou, but I love wearing boots. They keep my feet comfortable and warm. In the fall I can't wait to get back in boots

There is no stopping you and those boots :)

Great outfit! I like the boots and the skirt is fab. I’m seeing a lot of leather skirts currently. I think yours is especially stylish being not black and a line cut.

Well if ya put it that way, I’m not sure what it says either that you wear combats so well! Lol. You’re fierce!

These boots are You, just what Rachy said. Hopefully they make you feel like you, because they are a great look. A bit of “je ne sais quois” to edge up any outfit, I think. Keep wearing them with everything.

Super cute as always, Ruth. I love you in those combat boots! A unique colour and very good fit.

I'm so into this new Joy !  Loving these looks for you !

Thank you, Angie. It is hard to find a good fit at the ankle. You are tempting me to get a white pair. Do Doc Martins need a lot of breaking in? I'm not sure my feet could take it.
Thank you, Sara, Nemosmon, Texstyle, and taylor. I needed your nudge to accept this style as it is a bit out there for me.
Cjh and Rachylou, maybe my new style moniker should be " a Fierce Crone." I think I would enjoy that sometimes.
Jane, I have been enjoying this skirt. I used to have a black leather pencil skirt and would like another.
