Inspired by Angie's blog today I had to pull out a pussy bow blouse to wear for my new drivers' license photo. I see that I need a hair cut and to watch the video on how to tie the bow! Should I tie the bow lower? I usually wear this blouse with a black leather pencil skirt and red patent pumps. Does it work with these grey jeans? Your thoughts and styling advice are appreciated.

Joy, you make the bow blouse look super cool. I like it semi-tucked with the gray jeans. The rolled legs are great, too, showing off the ankle strap shoes. Fun look for a DL photo! (Too bad they aren't full-length shots, huh? Don't they know how important it is to get the shoes in the picture??)

So cute, Joy! I like the playful rolled up hems--it makes the blouse look more fun. Thanks for reminding me that I have this blouse too--I always feel too "proper" in it. I think I'm going to try it with rolled hems tomorrow :) Thanks for the inspiration!

Sharan, thank you for your encouragement. Yes, full length photos might be an improvement, especially when it comes to those awful holograms. For the first time I was asked to remove my specs.
Kellygirl, please post your outfit when you wear the blouse. I felt more relaxed in it with the jeans. -

I really like that blouse - I'm not drawn to bows myself, but the pattern on that blouse plus a bow is a good combo. Good choice for a DL photo!
