My Rose Quartz (Blush) and Serenity Blue Capsule for Skylurker

I need to update this capsule but maybe this will be helpful. These colors feel fresh worn together. I've recently added a silky blush pink blouse and pale blue ankle pants.

Another gorgeous capsule, Joy.  I have also been wearing these colors together this season.  Will you show us your new additions, they sound amazing?

  • El Cee replied 4 years ago

Joy -- Your capsules are always so beautiful and inspirational. Your jewelry and accessories are lovely and really add a lot.

  • Joy replied 4 years ago

Tanya and El Cee, thank you. Tanya, your outfits inspire me. I will be happy to show you the additional pieces as I get them in finds. The process helps me in so many ways. Thank you, Angie!

    Thank you, Firecracker.

Love. Today I'm contemplating painting my sitting room these colours...

  • Summer replied 4 years ago

Those colours are beautiful together, Joy.  There are some gorgeous blues about at the moment, and the blush is a perfect partner.  Enjoy your capsule.

  • shevia replied 4 years ago

These colors are exceptionally good together - excellent capsule!

  • Suz replied 4 years ago

Nice capsule, Joy -- it looks like a   perfect soft summer day.

  • Chris987 replied 4 years ago

Really lovely. Aren't these the exact colors the pantone folks said were going to be "in" for this spring/summer?  You nailed it Joy!

  • Angie replied 4 years ago

Well done, Joy. This palette is lovely with your complexion.

  • shedev replied 4 years ago

    great capsule Joy.

Wow Joy, you're gifting me capsules ! You're wonderful !
I have to rush out to dinner tonight but I'll be back tomorrow to peruse your posts in detail. Thanks !

Something very serene about these colors.

  • Beth Ann replied 4 years ago

YLF style-sharing at it's best, Joy!

  • Joy replied 4 years ago

Thank you all. I feel a bit rebellious with these colors together because a dear auntie absolutely hated them together. Rachylou, I hope that you do paint your sitting room ( You have a Sitting Room!?). these colors. Ledonna is right. There is something serene about them.
Chris987, yes, they are the Pantone colors for spring/summer or close.
Thank you, Angie. I was surprised how well both colors look next to my face, especially the blue. Maybe I need blue hair ;).
Skylurker, I hope that you will be inspired to play with blush.
Thank you for your encouragement, Beth Ann, Shedev, Suz, Shevia, and Summer.

I love your peaceful, pretty capsule, Joy. I have a blush top I really should wear more, you're inspiring me.

  • skylurker replied 4 years ago

I love that shade of blue, the one of your E. Fisher cardi.
Combined with blush, it reminds me of delicate British china teacups, somehow.
The faded jeans here inspire me to try blush jeans with a chambray shirt.
    Thank you.

  • Joy replied 4 years ago

Skylurker, I have worn my blush jeans so much that I have an eye out for another pair, maybe crops. All I find are light pink, which is harder for me to wear or use as a neutral. A chambray shirt sounds like a great idea. Thank you for the suggestion.
Columbine, think of your blush top as off white and it will pair easily with lots of pieces.
