My Blush and Navy Capsule for Skylurker

It looks like this is only part of it. I tried to fill in some missing pieces.

This is a gorgeous and very cohesive capsule, Joy.  Everything seems to go with everything, great planning.

Do you have your entire wardrobe on file like Angie? I would love that!

  • Joy replied 8 years ago

Thank you, Tanya. It was work and I tried everything on,but well worth it. It also helps when shopping to know how a new piece may fit in...or not.
Shevia, that is my goal but I mostly have my spring things on my finds. I have found it very helpful. Right now I have a small yellow capsule out on the bed ready to try on pieces, inspired by Angie's blog post.

Gorgeous! I like the contrast of this capsule--not as stark as black and white, a bit subdued and unexpected.

Your closet is a veritable treasure trove, Joy, and you have capsule-building down to a fine art - so clever!

I'm impressed by your organized color capsules, Joy, and by the variety of styles within this capsule! So many outfit possibilities...you have a wonderful wardrobe.

I'm impressed. More capsule magic from our fabulous, Joy.

Thank you for sharing your capsules, Joy.
I get a genteel elegance vibe from it. Ladylike, with a quiet ease, no stiffness.
I find the plaid shirts especially inspiring : a good way to carry the light colours into Fall without looking seasonally confused.

Wow what a great capsule. I am loving especially that you went with the lighter neutral for ALL the shoes. Not sure why I like it so much but I do! Was that a conscious decision?

I'm so impressed Joy! You're a wonder at creating capsule!

Thank you all for your kind comments. As you can see, I really enjoy building capsules. This one was first done fairly early in spring but can also work well for summer and fall. I have since found that I have a pair of navy shorts and a long linen shirt that should be added. Right now I am loving my closet which makes it so hard to do a severe edit before moving.
Skylurker, I love your description. A quiet elegance has been my style goal since joining YLF.
Chris, blush footwear has been easier to find than navy and I can wear it with almost anything as a nude. I do now have a little pair of low heeled, navy slingback pumps that i'll add, but the light neutral comes close to bookending my hair.
