Moto and dress: the cold spring sweater dress version

On a cold spring Sunday morning I brought up Angie's dress with moto jacket formula. Except for being a dress with a moto jacket, it does not actually fit any of her examples. The dress is Nordstroms BP, moto is Vince, nude mini-fishnet stockings, Aquatalia suede booties, bag is Liebeskind Berlin....all rather light dove grey neutral. Arm candy is three different friendship bracelets. Necklace is JJill leather, crystal and steel.
Would silver loafers have looked better with dress.? I felt warm and cozy even with the unlined light leather jacket .
Does the dress look too big? Suggestions and comments welcomed.

I like the booties with it, but magpie likes the idea of silver too! The fit of the dress looks fine to me, but jackets restrain volume, so may seem different without. I bet Mainelady will enjoy your arm candy too :)

Everything works well together and I love the soft tonal coloring. The bracelets look fab.

The dress doesn't look too big - I love how your whole look is pulled together. Nicely done!

I think it's a great look. The dress doesn't look big at all and the booties work great. I really like the coloring.

Looks great to me. I think silver shoes would have worked too.

Thank you for all the kind compliments. I did change shoes to silver loafers later for a shopping trip and liked the look with a silver bag.

Loveley outfit, Joy. The moto reigns in any fullness, so can't tell if dress is too big. Looks fine in pics.

The dress I have feels comfortable. A size down would probably be body con

Perfection, and such a sophisticated palette.

I like how it looks in the photos (with the bag and boots), but I think the pumps and silver bag would have been a beautiful more dressy alternative. You look great in these neutral tones.

Tonal Fabness, and nice arm candy.

Thank you all for looking and commenting. I am glad the dress is ok. I wanted to add a sweater dress this year and tried some others that were too clingy or too short.
