Some time ago I posted some early spring neutral drape. Here are some more recent examples. All but the first are variations with the same pieces. What, if anything, works and what doesn't? I am drape challenged when working with my rectangular body because things often go droopy rather than draped. I hope that their is enough structure to support the drape.
In #1, the nubby poncho is standing in for a tweed jacket. Is it too much on me? Would it be better to trim off the fringe?

Hi Joy -- You look absolutely FABULOUS in all five outfits. I hate to say I liked some better than others because ALL are stellar. But I did find numbers 3 and 5 more pleasing to my eye. I liked numbers 2 and 4 next. Although GREAT, I didn't think number 1 rose to the same heights as the others.
Oh, and these colors are on you are amazing. You wear cream like no one else!!!!!!

Joy -- You look so gorgeous in these soft neutrals. I do not think that you are "drape challenged" at all. I love your use of layering and also playing with different textures (#1 -- love the nubby poncho) and shine (#4). Number 4 blows me away!

Thank you for your comments and preferences. I've been trying to stock up on this pale grey/white while I can find it. Ivory just isn't as good a shade on me.

I see 5 fantastic outfits, Joy. I like the shawl and fringe just the way it is...seems like I see fringe quite a lot lately:)
