Very nice collection of the outfits - love #1,2,5 and 8 ( lovely peach color on you! ).

Thank you each for your uplifting comments. I was not sure about that mustard jacket for me in #2. The orange dress outfit is an example of high/low. EF dress about 2 years old and Target bag that is even older.
The peach outfit is mostly EF and the white pants are pull on with a stretchy waist that are taking over the place of jeans.

Oh, my goodness, Joy, what a gorgeous set of outfits for every occasion. You are a style inspiration. 3 and 6 are particular standouts for me; 3 for the creative pattern mixing and the silhouettes, and 6 for that amazing color that is stunning on you.

Hi Joy! I'm curious if you added your own "complexifying" situation to this challenge and made each outfit accommodate your medical device? Or did you set that need aside for challenge purposes?
Either way, you look smashing.

Joy replied 4 years ago
Thank you all. April, I did accommodate each outfit to my device. You will see lots of pull on pants and loose pull-on dresses. My pull-on skirts are also seeing lots of action. The loose, long toppers and scarves also help hide the bump made by the device.
Torontogirl , I have been enjoying non- prescription sunnies since cardiac surgery about 1-1/2 years ago, but I really need them to cut glare sometimes even inside.
Mainelady, shopping my closet has been an eye opener. I did not realize I had enough for most situations after eliminating most waistlines. We will see what happens in warmer weather. I suspect that I will need a few light weight toppers and will need to edit out a bunch of tops that are too snug in the waist, but I can still wear most of my pull-on dresses and pants.

It dawned on me too late that I should include a funeral capsule. . It would probably be a black or navy dress or suit with a dark coat. My all time favorite funeral outfit was a navy skirt suit with a narrow pin stripe that I wore with an ice blue blouse. It looked appropriate without looking gloomy. A navy blue outfit might be best. I need a navy winter dress but can do navy for warm weather. Shoes would be flats of some sort that would not sink into damp or wet sod in a cemetery. Even if you don’t think you will go to the burial, you may be talked into it. It is best to be prepared.
