Festive outfits #3 WIW and WIPTW

Probably my last festive outfit WIW for the season as I have included What I Plan To Wear for Christmas and New Years if there were parties and get together as usual. Photo 1: this is the Indian garment I love for this time of year. I wear it over a column of black, a black dress or pants and black top, black silk for warm weather, a black sweater or long silk underwear or Heat tech when it is cold. I add gold jewelry and party flats or even dressy black boots.
2/3 is a favorite New Years Eve outfit that can also be tweaked for the weather, if I do not take off the jacket, Heat Tech or wool can be layered under the sequined shell. And footwear varied depending on the weather. I tend to wear shiny accessories.
Photo 4 is EF bone that can be worn with bone casual or silk lantern pants with different weights of tops depending on the weather and bone suede booties or dressier patent shoes.
Photos 5-8 show today’s outfit the red sequined top and scarf are being worn casually with jeans and long denim blue cardigan but they are favorite part of a Christmas Eve outfit with dressier bottoms or for a concert on a cold night.
8 is a close up of the sparkly earrings.
This is getting long. I will share some outfits I have been wearing on another thread.

You are ready for every possible holiday event! Love them all, especially 2,3, & close ups. Thanks for sharing these looks. Inspirational--I'd have to get busy to figure out something if I were going out NYE.

You are indeed ready for it all! What a fun wardrobe you have Ruth.

What makes me most happy is seeing you have fun with it! You have a brilliant attitude :)

These outfits are beautiful! You have some really special prints in your holiday collection.

Gorgeous prints for a gorgeous woman!  I hope that you can have some festive fun, although I know it will be different to other years.

I love your attitude and know you will look great.

You are all so kind. I feel pretty good about my holiday things although I am missing my favorite skirt, colorful beading on black wool, it it will not work with my glucose meter and has had lots of wear over the years, so it is time to move on. If I really needed a festive skirt, I think I could wear my black lace pencil skirt or even a black pleated skirt with a dressy top. This is the year I thought I’d find a replacement skirt but have enough without it, especially for a year like this one. No plays or concerts to attend.

All fab. The black jacket and the Indian pieces are the best, festive and special. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Cjh. These have been so valuable to have to pull out no matter what the weather. The Indian piece especially has gotten lots of unexpected compliments. It is a bit sheer and swishy and has a few scattered sequins.

Great outfits - love #1 and hope you will be able to wear it in 2021!

    Fancy! :)

Shevia, I hope so too. I don’t know when DH and I will be able to get a vaccination. It sounds like maybe this summer. Rachylou, fancy is the idea for once a year, well maybe fancy with some casual. I need a white furry hoody.

What a gorgeous holiday capsule! I love the Indian garment especially--so unusual and stunning. All of these pieces are so pretty. They would make me look forward to dressing for parties.

Great range of different dressy outfits - a bit of envy ;) .
I went to Marshalls and got the first sequined top that was available in my size - wore it today with a smile ( we need a bit of sparkle during the holiday time ).

Lovely - beautiful earrings, and I love the subtle sparkle in the red scarf.

Thank you, dear Fabbers. I hope you all have a Happy New Year’s Eve and wonderful 2021. DS1 just called from Tokyo and we got to wish him a Happy New Year before he went to a shrine. He said most are closed this year due to Covid but it is a Japanese tradition.
Not yet sure what I will wear, probably a different outfit during the day and add sequins for the evening (at home). The grandkids are coming over for a bit for watching TV, a rare treat for them. It will be floor time for me.
