Everyday Holiday Challenge: Leopard and the Return of the Faux Fur Vest and more

Sunday I wore my leopard tube skirt. In the morning I wore photos 1-3 ( skirt with faux fur collared cardigan). It was a cold morning with several inches of snow, so I wore the Blondo waterproof tall boots.
Later for going out to eat I exchanged the cardigan for a furry vest. The rest stayed the same. (4-5).
Today's holiday outfit was casual jeans with bling...grey KUT Diana skinny jeans with a Target sequined top and taupe/grey velvet jacket. Worn for a movie, grocery shopping, walking, and having family over for a casual dinner. Photos 6-8. Comments and suggestions welcomed. These outfits were not the most festive but had a little bling with the warmth and comfort was needed.

Wow Joy!! You look amazing in all of these outfits!!

Joy -- These three outfits are just amazing.  I can't tell you how effortless they look.  Stunning.

My favorites are the first two.  The pattern and texture speak to me.

You look stunning in all three of your holiday outfits. Hard to pick a favorite. I am really enjoying following your mini-challenge.

  • Runcarla replied 7 years ago

Brilliant! So fashionable and stylish, Joy. No advice to give - you've nailed it.

  • Aquamarine replied 7 years ago

Love these, Joy, especially the skirt outfits. I struggle with wearing my tube skirts in the winter, especially with boots, but I think you've nailed the proportions.

  • Tanya replied 7 years ago

Wow, all the three are amazing, Joy.  I thing you totaily nailed them.  The leopard skirt looks fantastic with both the cardigan and the vest, such a great mix of pattern and texture. And the light neutrals int eh second one with sequins and velvet are very elegant.

So fashionable and stylish as you can do, love, love all, you look absolutely fantastic.

You look great! Love them all, but most especially I love that first outfit. That cardigan with the fur is just dreamy! All of these outfits have such a nice mix of textures and just the right amount of sparkle/bling. Well done!

  • Joy replied 7 years ago

Oh, thank you all for the huge boost. You make me fearless. Tanya, thank you for starting this mini challenge.
I'm glad that the proportions look ok. They always challenge me. On some level I think of my 12 year old self as one of the tallest in class and forget that now I'm in the petite category.

  • Bonnie replied 7 years ago

Oh, I like everyone of these outfits. You have a wonderful collection of dressy clothes.

  • RobinF replied 7 years ago

I love all of these! That leopard skirt is to die for! And love the vest too.

  • Mochi replied 7 years ago

The height of glam. So stunning. Wow.

  • Angie replied 7 years ago

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY THE CUTEST FESTIVE LADY I KNOW.

Love it all. Killer. You wow me, sweet Joy. Just looking at these outfits makes me smile. You spread lots of good cheer. LOVE.

Your outfit #1 fantastic. That cardigan was quite a find.

  • kkards replied 7 years ago

speechless.....Joy, all these looks are just so fab...
but i must say, #1 just blows me away! the textures, the pattern mixing, and the proportions...everything just works so perfectly!

  • Joy replied 7 years ago

Thank you all so much for your helpful comments. Bonnie, I bat for team dressy as long as it's not too dressy.
Robin, the leopard skirt is in my closet year round as it works just as well with summer shoes, bare legs and sleeveless top. A true workhorse. I am appreciating the furry vest for cool to cold days. It seems to go with everything.
Mochi, few of my friends would see glam. I appreciate your comment.
Dear Angie, I am overcome with your sweet comment. Thank you for your encouragement and support for my attempts.
Brie, it was love at first sight with this cardigan from Nic and Zoe a couple of years ago. The faux fur part can be removed to make the cardigan even more versatile.

  • Jaime replied 7 years ago

Stunning! I was totally wowed by the first one, but the middle outfit blew me away.

  • Joy replied 7 years ago

Kkards, we must have cross posted. Thank you so much for the big boost.
Shevia, thank you. I feel more confident wearing this furry vest than I did last year.

  • Sara L. replied 7 years ago

These are great!  You are really killing this challenge.  I love the furry vest with the leopard skirt - perfect combo.  The sequin shirt is great with the jacket.  Perfect everyday bling.

  • JAileen replied 7 years ago

The vest and skirt is maximally fab. I love the vest. I also love the outfit with the velvet jacket. Very luxe. Very nice!

  • Angie replied 7 years ago

The pleasure is all mine, Joy.

  • Jjsloane replied 7 years ago

Joy I LOVE LOVE LOVE them all! Festive, furry and fun!

  • lyn67 replied 7 years ago

Variations of the animal skirt & fur are both very very adorable, but the pants outfit steals the show!

  • Barbara Diane replied 7 years ago

You look so glamourous and I love the mixed patterns and textures.
