All of these are good options for Summer. None of them are bad....they all work. The ones I like best are:
1. The 1-2 citron options. Both really look great.
6. I believe brown and orange are a match made in heaven. I love this outfit the most.
10. You look absolutely stunning in that cobalt blue top. With a neutral base, the top shines and so do you.
I'm not particularly fond of the chambray shirt combination. It's a good pairing in itself, it just looks less 'You'. The look is too casual and doesn't fit with your overall style that's a little more polished, feminine and classic.

#6 is my favourite, followed by #1 and #3. I like the colour of the chambray shirts with the pants, but not the shirts style as much. I also really like both shape and colour of the pink top in #4 as I think the length and shape works better than the one in #5.

Diane, I meant to mention that 1 uses your rubber band trick. It needed something to reign in the volume. The pink top in 5 is more fitted and harder to style without a topper. I agree that 4 works better. Thank you for your comments and trick.
Maneera, thank you for your detailed post...so helpful. I need a new chambray shirt.

I agree with Maneera and Diane, #6 is perfect! Love the orange with brown. And #4 works really well too!

Love 6 and 1-5. My least faves are the white shirt, 7, 8, 9 and 12, although it could be the cut of the chambray I'm not liking. Six is a winner for sure.

My faves are 1, 3 and 6. I'm really liking the warmer top tones with the brown even though technically it can run more neutral.

#6 looks amazing. I also like the citron, the pink tee, the cobalt, and asymmetric black. I want to like the chambray, but I think the look may be too RATE for your more polished persona.

I especially like 1, 2, 4, 6.

I am not as keen on no 6 - maybe because there is a little too much brown for my liking. I love brown (and miss it greatly) but to my eye when an outfit has too much brown it starts to look dated. I would prefer that top with a lighter bottom or denim. I really like no 1 and 2 but I think no 2 would be better with different shoes. Something brighter to tie in better with the top. The top makes the shoes look dirty. I also like no 8 (the asymmetric top makes the brown look current) and no 10 (just because it makes you look fab). By the way I did not get a chance to respond to your post yesterday but I really like your missoni-esque brown bag. That's a keeper!

In order for me 6, 10, 11. I know, I know . . . I understand all the comments against 11 but I really like it . . .
Best wishes.
PS: Sorry, I need educating again: can someone please tell me what the acronym RATE is? Thanks so much.

Honestly these all look terrific - I especially like the blue ones.

I'm with Shevia - I think these all look good and just show how versatile those brown capri pants are going to be in your summer wardrobe. I have a particular fondness for the citron and blue pairings.

Kerlyn (spell check wants to name you Merlyn), Nebraskim, Unfrumped, Jenn, Wordlily, Rachylou, Brooklyn, ecteacher0000, and Shevia, knowing your preferences and least liked is very helpful.
Unfrumped, I had not noticed warmer tones vs cool ones and will pay attention now. I usually try to wear warm or warmer versions of cool tones on top.
Jenn, you may be onto something in your comment about the chambray shirt. I've not reached for it as often as I thought I would. The buttondowns that I wear most are silky and soft. I need a silky feminine chambray shirt! Thank you for pointing this out.
Ecteacher0000, RATE means Rough Around The Edges, sort of an opposite of polished.
Brooklyn, dark brown is not popular right now. A light bulb went off when you mentioned that to you it looks dated. I'd not thought of that. I wondered if the cold shoulder style is also dated, although it never became common in this area.
