Ask Angie: K/R: Tory Burch navy leather jacket

I found this jacket at the Rack and need your wisdom as to whether or not to keep it. I can get very sidetracked by the 85% off price.
I took some quick photos with various other things. The color shown is pretty accurate. It is a dark navy but has some contrast with black. I can think of lots of things that I could wear with it and the butter soft leather could be worn almost year round as an indoor jacket.
However, even at it's much reduced price ($119 from $800), it is pricey for me. As for need, I was hoping to replace a wool navy blazer this year and I think this piece could fill that spot.
The fit feels good but my eye is not good at knowing. I could not layer anything bulky under it. Can this be worn with pants, dresses and skirts? How is the fit? Is the length good? It is collarless but my shoulders are pretty broad and neck is average length. I don't want to keep this if it is not a 10. I want it to be but am easily swayed by a bargain.

    Photos?

Thanks! I added them...maybe too many. There is at least one duplicate but I can't seem to get rid of it.

I do like it, I just am concerned it might be a tad snug and a touch short.  Leather does stretch, though, I just don't know how much.

It almost looks too small to me, the wideness at the shoulder looks like it is pulling because it is too small, instead of a design element. But I am no expert!

Wow! What a great buy! I like it a lot, and I can see it being a versatile addition to your wardrobe. Love it over the striped tee and white pants!

From what I can see, I like it. I'm having a hard time gauging if it's a touch too small, though. does it feel tight anywhere?

Leather jackets have their own fab aura, and so tactile, but I'm not feeling any special love for this one. The style is so-so. Do you especially want this color? I think you would look great in a gray or taupey or ivory one.

Yes! Getting side tracked when there is 80% off a designer piece is easy. I don't blame you.

I don't think it's KILLER, Joy. The front fit is off and the neckline isn't crisp. It does not hang well open, and you don't just want to wear it closed. I vote return.

Sorry to be a wet blanket :(

I totally understand the sidetracked by sale - I am often there.
I love the colour for you and do agree that a leather navy jacket would be a great addition to your wardrobe. The many ways you have styled it here are testament to that. I am not 100% on the way it lays open above the waist. I do think it is the right size but appears to wide. Of course, I am certainly not an expert.

Thank you all, and especially Angie, for your honest opinion and saving me from a mistake. This is why I should be banned from sale racks! It will go back and I'll look forward to NAS.
