Ask Angie: K/R this EF jacket???

I've been looking for a jacket for my NAS EF skirt in bone and yesterday found this one, also EF bone colored, but " polished ramie stretch" rather than the silk/cotton blend of the skirt. It is called "high collar jacket". Originally $338, I found it for $55, so I admit to sales blinders. This is a petite 12. There is part of the problem. Looking in the mirror, it looked like it would work if the sleeves were shortened; looking at the photos, it looks too big. I found the regular size (not petite) online in smaller sizes for about $250.
I hate to spend much as its wear will be limited with my casual lifestyle, but wonder if I should see if it can be altered to fit ( It has a back seam), return and keep looking for maybe something less dressy or just use a color or another neutral.
What would you do? For anyone reading this, Please give me your thoughts.
(I also have bone pants.)

K/R: YLF, Do These Make My Feet Look Big?

I know I have big feet for my size and have learned to appreciate them anyway. I'd like your thoughts on these shoes.
I've long wanted flat white/off white cool or cold weather shoes and ordered the Trove loafer hybrids last spring. Then it turned too hot to wear them. Yesterday I found the ivory AGL oxfords at The Rack. I don't know that I need both pair.
The third pair are FS. I need some brown, caramel or cognac. What do you think of these?
I could keep all or none but want to look somewhat modern, yet comfortable. I see too many old lady comfort shoes and hope to avoid that for at least awhile longer.
1-3: Trove loafer
4-6: AGL Oxford
7-9: Franco Sarto loafer
What should I return? Should I keep looking? Are these JFE on my big feet or unflattering?

K/R: Eileen Fisher cobalt top

Another Clearance Rack find. I have been wanting to add some cobalt to my wardrobe. This is a breezy linen front, silk back top with some of the silk showing in front at the top. It was 92% off making it less than $15, so I am leaning toward keeping unless you think it is a mistake.
It is not styled here but I have plenty of summer black, white, taupe and denim slim bottoms plus it matched a Halogen pencil skirt that I have. On the minus side, does it look too boxy? Too long for a boxy top? I would love your thoughts before I commit to it.
Also, the back silk is semi sheer. On a hot day could I get by just wearing a blue or nude bra under it? I do have an EF silk tank in blue that could be worn under it.
Edited to add photos to show fabric.

K/R: EF Espadrilles

I found these perforated EF espadrilles at The Rack a while back and thought they would make a good addition to my summer footwear...cool in the heat yet not open. They are a half size up but very flat, so there is room for a cushy insert or to allow for foot swelling. It has been too cold and snowy to wear them and they can still be returned. What do you think? I'm not even sure if they qualify as espadrilles. K/R? Are they modern enough to update my outfits?

K/R: Statement chunky blush pullover

In my quest to amp up my casual style with some color, I fell for this chunky blush pink pullover. It is a cozy non-itchy blend of acrylic and wool which is a good weight, not too hot, not slushy. The photos don't show it, but it is slightly longer in back. The color is probably most accurate in photo 2.
I love the color but need your opinion about fit. Is this too overwhelming or nicely slouchy? It was very inexpensive so I'm looking for a one or two season life, not an investment piece. Be blunt. Keep or keep looking?

Buy or not? Long black blazer

Same consignment shop as the EF coat in the other post. I 'd been wanting a year round weight longer black blazer to update an old one but wear them casually. This is a light wool Anne Klein. Is it too tight in the midriff? I don't think I'd ever wear it open though, but am unsure of length and fit. The black is hard to see. Does this deserve a place in my wardrobe or should I keep looking? Does it look modern enough? Please be completely blunt. I'm wondering if I even want a black blazer and need advice.

Ask Angie: and all: K/R white vests

I need some guidance. I am contemplating 3 three sizes of the EF bone vest plus a white Frenchi version. I'm not sure if any of these work very well. Here they are with a simple black sleeveless dress.
1/2: the EF vest in PP ( smallest possible size)
3/4: same vest in size PS
5/6: same vest in regular XS
7/8: Frenchi vest. If I keep this one I will have the pockets that show through removed.
9: white denim vest that I own with a similar dress for comparison.
Do you need to see these styled differently?
I like the bone color and it could be worn as part of a tonal outfit, but I'm not sure that this expensive, even on sale, piece is a 10 and versatile enough.
Do you like one size better than the others?
It may be that this is coming at the end of the summer season and not as exciting as it would be in the spring. I need some convincing to keep. Even the petite versions are lots longer on me than the black version that I own and love. Does that look ok? Can I fit it into a casual lifestyle?
Thank you for any comments and suggestions you have.

K/R: Cobalt Jacket

This Alberto Makali jacket was bought when the weather was too cold to wear it. Now I'm wondering if I should return it because it gives me big shoulders. ( I have IT tendencies.) I'd love your honest opinions. Should I keep it or wait for something better. It is a wild card piece.
Pro:
It is a good spring/summer/early fall weight
Good sale price
Nice drape
Good color for me but I have little of it
Wear with both light and dark neutrals and some colors
Con:
Fit???
Doesn't match anything
Thank you for your thoughts.

K/R: Am I Wearing Sale Blinders?

I'm showing you some things that followed me home from The Rack but really want your honest opinion on these for me.
First up is a black lace topper that opens in back. My thoughts were to wear it over my black tank and sheath dresses when I need a little shoulder coverage but not warmth. The lace is matte, not shiny; not exquisite but not too shabby either. I'm showing it with a dress and with a black tank and jeans. It's hard to show the movement and back interest. (1-3).
Next up is a look I love on others but can overwhelm me. The blush shell is voluminous under more soft silky volume of a kimono-esque open topper. It's a great weight for summer and I have a sugar eye for these Citron brand prints. This one has blush, grey and soft black and goes with much I have. If I wear structured pieces underneath, can I pull this off or should I forget about it? (4-7)

Ask Angie: should I Keep this EF pullover?

I asked about this sweater when shopping and got mixed reviews.
http://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/buy-or-not-5
It came home with me; I've done some playing, but am still undecided about keeping it. Below are some tries.
1/2: in the store with black jeans and top.
3: with white jeans and tank.
4/5: with camel skirt and black cowel-neck sweater
6: with black tube skirt and cowel sweater
I also tried it over a black sleeveless shift dress and thought it worked ok.
Pros: I love the design and fabric.
It could be worn almost year round
Sale priced.
Could work with lots of things I already have.
Seems fluid with structure in the fitted sleeves and moves nicely.
Cons: While half price, is still expensive, so must be a 10.
With a tank underneath, the neck is more open than ideal and calls
for a scarf, fill-in necklace, or topper to bring something closer to my
neck.
The bottom edge in front hits at my widest part ( back is slightly longer).
I'm unsure about the proportions on my body. This is a regular XS. It is available on the EF site in a Petite S, but is more expensive and my best size in many EF pieces is a PP, which is not available.
What do you think after seeing it with more stylings? I need your collective wisdom.
